Poor Snpae always bullied by others (especiallu James and Sirius). I think he did wrong when he hurted Lily, but if he hadn't, they could still be friends, although James and Sirius didn't like him.
I like how you have made their hair, and "light" effects! So much details...

I think if he had not been such an arse with the dark magic and this stuff may be he could have been with Lily (romantically involved, I mean). But he clearly throw away all his chances 
There's A LOT of details, believe me... but can't be seen unless you have the original and look closer. Big mistake, i know.

I think so too, he just lost his chances by himself, when he broke his relationship with Lily and enter deeper and deeper in dark arts. (But I think that was 'cause of his family... he seemed not have happy childhood, so maybe his family had make him little bit... depressing all his childhood? Then he thought just dark things later....)
I always am so lazy for making details in my pics, that I really appreciate those who draw them!
