Description WOOHOO!!! Another cake!! I need to catch up with these I have 3 other cakes that I have yet to submit XD

So this was done for my little sisters 18th birthday *cries* she's so grown up!!

The body of totoro is made from a circle cake pan and the ears and dust ball are made from rice crispy treats that I made then shaped by hand. I just made a long part at the bottom of the ears and cut little holes out of the top of his head and stuck the ears in

And the furr is done by spreading the icing on and then taking a knife and tapping on the icing. It pulls the icing up and makes it stick out.

I had LOADS of fun with this cake. I think I might do a tutorial the next time I make one

He was awsome till we started eating him. he was delicious, i just felt so bad for eating him especially when someone ate his ears. T-T good bye totoro.

Very creative! I think you should've made the blue-furred one though. Gray icing just doesn't look to appetizing. I know what you're gonna say... "Try the gray stuff, it's delicious! You don't believe me? Ask the dishes!"

HAHAHAHAHAHHAA!! I didnt think of that but I sure am now! Now the song is stuck in my head. I would have totally done the blue one but my sister loves the big guy the best :/ so I had to do her favorite. It was tough because it took a lot of black food coloring in order to make the gray so it was a little weird eating it. XD but it tasted the same
we just had a LOT of gray mouths lol
