this is Dill.allan or adam? campbell's character in Scar Night.
its a great book if you like angels, which is the main reason i chose it ^^.
but seriously, if you like angels, or just like to read fiction books this one is a very good one.
if youve read the book youll notice that hes not holding on to the wind direction indicator thingy like the book say, i couldnt draw it so i stuck with a cross.

I like it. It looks so peaceful and you can see the brief moment of freedom he feels up there. The cover was the whole reason I picked up the book. I love angels.

unofortunatly, there arent many fiction books, though it seems that anne rice will have a book soon.

This is another example of the wonderful artwork I've been finding here inspired by my books. (It's very much what I imagined when I was writing that scene).
I was hoping to gather the pictures and post them on my blog (with the artists' permission of course). I think my readers would be interested to see them.

The weathervane was an interesting thing in the book (spin, Dill!!), but it seems that it would be hard to draw. Nice drawing~!

My mom read it and got confused at one point. "I don't get it. Is the god of chains good or evil??" My response: "Does he SOUND good or evil??" XD

I know, huh?? When you think about it, no one is what they seem! Carnival is not some bloodthirsty demon! And what I think is funny? So many people in the book think Dill is weak or something, but that's not true. He just has a self-esteem problem!!

that is what the books theme was, that people are not all that they seem but something rather different than we imagined

Yup!!! I think that the only real downfall to the book is the lack of description of Dill. I mean, what do we know about how he looks?? His eyes change colour. Yeah. And he has white-feathered wings. Yeah. What else do we know? XD
But somethng I don't understand... It's supposedly "Horror/Fantasy", but I don't see where the horror comes in... then again, I read Stephen King.

stephen king i didnt find scary, just suspensefulll more than anything, but the reason why it is horror/fantasy, is becouse it involves creatures on which you can see their organs in plain sight
