so i have been trying to get a very similar effect but failing. how did you make those light orbs?

In short:
The light orbs are visible point light placed in their hands. Visiblity was increased to 200%, color is soft blue and shadows are also soft. The lights have a linear drop-off.
Similar thing was done for the fire bowls. In addition some small point-lights with same settings but without visibilty were placed around their heads to remove some darkened areas.

saved your comment to a document, will have to try it all out. I use 3ds Max Vray, but the concept is the same i suppose.
will maybe scrap it but link it if i fail and i need some tips?

The concept is more or less the same since the light parameters I am using should be available in every major 3D app
