The day started out the same as any other school day for 15-year-old Erin Wilson.She got up,had her breakfast and got ready for another day at school.Homework was hurridly checked over,goodbyes were exchanged with her mother and then away she went.She walked the same route to school that she had for the past five years without the faintest inkling of what awaited her or that her hitherto ordinary life was about to take an extraordinary turn that Wednesday morning...

Erin's thoughts wandered without any particular purpose as she walked down Langly Crescent towards the direction of her school. Her morning walk to school had become somewhat lonelier as of late since her friend Sally had moved away and generally, she found herself missing her friend greatly.The pair had been inseparable for years and though she was a warm and friendly person,Erin didn't really have anyone else at Bellington High she was particularly close to.Though she'd kept in touch with Sally over the phone and e-mail,she could tell that her friend was having an easier time getting over their separation than she was.Already the communications from her friend were becoming less frequent and more filled with references to new friends she had made.It didn't make Erin jealous or anything,she was glad for her friend's happiness but sometimes she wished that there was another friend in her life.A companion who wouldn't leave or abandon her but who would always be there when she needed her and for Erin to be there for in return.

As she continued down the road she noticed the figure of an elderly woman slightly ahead of her,shuffling slowly down the street.It wasn't an uncommon sight for the small town but as a local Erin was pretty familiar with most of the old folks nearby and she couldn't recall having ever seen this particular old lady before.As she drew closer,Erin suddenly noticed something lying on the pavement before her.When she drew closer she realized quickly that it appeared to be an elegant looking purse that had likely fallen from the old woman's bag.Due to how it had fallen,the purse had opened up slightly and Erin was somewhat astonished to see that the purse appeared to be almost bulging with notes.The young woman's eyes widened a little at the sight of the dizzying sight of the small fortune but she didn't hesitate as she carefully picked the purse back up and closed it before breaking into a small jog to catch up with the old woman.

"Excuse me?"Erin called out politely."Ma'am?I think you've dropped your purse!"

The old lady turned around to face her.Though her features were worn and wrinkly,there was a strong indication that she'd been quite an attractive lady in her prime.Her eyes however were lively and vibrant and seemed to carry no indication of age or weariness but rather seemed to almost glow with a strange intensity and inner light that Erin had never seen before."Why thank you my dear!"The old woman said warmly in what was possibly the most grandmotherly voice Erin had ever heard."I must have dropped it without noticing.Silly me.And with all my savings in as well.It's a good thing that such a kind and honest young lady like yourself found it or I would have been in quite the pickle!"

Erin smiled humbly as she handed the purse back to the old woman."You're very welcome."She said a little abashed at the woman's gratitude and compliment."You take care now and have a lovely day."She made to depart and be on her way but the old woman quicky interjected."Oh you wouldn't mind if I asked you for some directions before you leave would you?"She asked sweetly."I'm quite new to this town and I need to find the post office to post some mail.Could you point me in the right direction?"Erin hesitated a moment as she pondered the question and the time she had to spare before school but her altruism won through once more."Of course.I've got a little time before I'm due for school.I can show you the way if you like?"She said graciously."Oh that would be wonderful!The old lady said eagerly."You're too kind my dear."Erin offered the old woman her arm and the lady took it,then they began to head down the road arm in arm at a somewhat concerning pace for Erin.She began to wonder if her offer had been a mistake as they moved down the road at a leisurely crawl,despite the fact she had a little bit of time before school she didn't want to end up running late.Nevertheless she remained silent and continued to escort the old lady to the end of the street and then down the road towards the post office and the opposite direction of the school.

After a few minutes that felt like much longer to the slightly anxious Erin they finally neared their destination.Erin was about to point out the post office to the old woman when the lady piped up first"Oh there it is!I see it now my dear.I should be alright from here,you run along now and get to school.I don't want to take up any more of your precious time."Erin hesitated."Are you sure?"She asked inquisitively."I don't mind helping you cross the road."The old woman smiled."I'll be fine from here my dear.Thank you so much for all your kindness.You really are the nicest young person I've come across in a long time.You truly have a generous and honest spirit,quite the rare quality in this day and age."Erin blushed furiously at the lady's kind words."Oh it was nothing really.I was happy to help."She gushed awkwarly,unused to such high praise."Have a nice day now and take care!"She started to head back down the street as the old woman waved at her warmly."And the same to you my dear.God bless you."

Erin waved back before turning and heading back the way they had came up the road.Despite the small inconvenience to her,she didn't really mind having helped the old woman and it didn't even occur to her that she possibly deserved a reward for her kind actions.Just as Erin had gone a short distance though she heard the sound of a car engine coming from behind her.She turned around to look out of curiosity and fleeting concern for the old woman and suddenly felt her heart almost stop as she beheld a terrifying sight.

The old woman had hobbled out a short way into the middle of the road,seemingly intent on crossing while there was no traffic.But a car had just come blazing round a nearby turn and was now bearing down on the old woman at worrying speed.It only took Erin's mind a fraction of a second to leap to the conclusion that the old woman would be unable to get out of the way before the car reached her or possibly slammed on it's brakes.She had to act!

On pure instinct,Erin leapt into action,dropping her bag as she broke into a frantic dash towards the old woman.She'd always been fairly average at P.E during school but she was mercifully fast enough to reach the old woman in time.She grabbed her under her arms and pulled her back just in the nick of time as the car screeched past,the driver having slammed their brakes on at the very last second but ultimately too late to avoid a terrible accident if not for Erin's timely intervention.

Erin and the old lady fell back onto the pavement with Erin being careful to take the brunt of the tumble.She quickly sat up and looked at the old woman in concern but thankfully she seemed to be fine,though a little dazed.Erin's relief quicky turned to indignant anger however as she turned around in the direction of the car,fully intent on giving the driver a good earful for their reckless speeding.To Erin's further outage however, the car had already started moving again and was hurtling up the street again.The driver either already satisfied or uncaring of Erin and the old lady's wellbeing.Erin made a quick mental note of the car make and color though it was sadly already a bit too far away for her to make our the registration clearly.It was a grey Mercedes however and Erin locked that fact away in her steel-trap mind for later.With nothing to be done about the careless driver,Erin returned her attention to the old lady again."Are you alright miss?Are you hurt anywhere?"She asked worriedly,now concerned that she might have been too rough in her efforts to save her or that the shock might have an adverse affect on the elderly lady but to her relief the old woman simply smiled in a rather nonchalant fashion."I'm fine dear,thanks to you."She said with strangely no hint of fear or alarm over her close call."It seems that you also possess bravery and selflessness in equal proportions to your honesty, charity and patience.You truly are an extraordinary young woman."Once again Erin was abashed by the woman's glowing praise but she didn't allow it or the old woman's very cavalier attitude to such a close shave derail her concern."Ummm thank you...But are you really sure you're alright?"

"Quite fine my dear."The old woman assured her with a strange conviction."But more importantly, it would seem I've finally found what I've been looking for at last.After so many years of searching for a worthy soul,at last I've found one deserving of the gift I have to grant."

Erin stood there,unsure of what to say.She was honestly beginning to wonder if the old woman was balmy or if the shock had made her take leave of her senses but the old lady seemed to sense her thoughts and smiled."Ah you probably think I've gone daft hmm?Well you wouldn't be the first to think that.I know this must all seem a little strange and confusing right now but things will make sense soon enough.For now Erin I want you to take this."The old woman reached into her handbag and withdrew and banana before pressing it into Erin's hand."Keep ahold of this for later and all will be made clear soon.For now though you should run along for school.I've taken up quite enough of your time with all this."

"A-alright..."Erin murmured in a daze.She took the banana and looked down at it for a moment to examine it.It simply appeared to be a normal banana however.But when she looked up to ask the old woman about the strange reward she almost jumped out of shock.The old woman had seemingly vanished in the few seconds that Erin had looked away.She quickly looked around to see if somehow the old lady had darted behind her(which seemed silly when she thought about it) but there wasn't a sign of her.Shaken by the strange experience,to say nothing of the near accident she'd narrowly averted moments earlier,Erin stood there for a few seconds in complete bewilderment before she remembered that she was running late.She hurriedly stuffed the Banana into her bag and then turned and dashed up the street as fast as her legs would carry her.

Meanwhile in a cliche secluded lair....

"SO!My weather machine is rubbish eh!?"Raved a shadowy figure in a high-pitched nasally voice."So puffed up and smug with their bloated male egos that they couldn't even consider the fact that I,Gladys Glum,have achieved the impossible and developed a devilish device capable of monitoring and manipulating metrological phenomenon!"The figure thrust a scrawny figure into the air with maniacal fervor."Now the disbelieving dolts will have all the proof they need of my blinding brilliance when I hold the city of....Hmm...which one should I hold for ransom....?"The voice trailed off for several moments as a map was hastily consulted and then the rant continued"Bellington!Yes!The city(well more of a town really...) will serve as an example of my incredible intellect when I hold it in the grip of the worst weather this nation has ever seen!Then they'll pay!Pay for laughing at me!Pay for belittling me!Pay for all those times they called me "Ga-ga Gloom"!Pay with money!Lots and lots of money!And who will be laughing then!?Me!!that's who!!Mweheeheeheehehheheeeheheee!!"The crazed cackling echoed through the lair as a fateful lever was pulled and the wheels of fate began to turn once more...

Back in Bellington High....

Erin's history class trundled along at it's usual tedious pace as mr Brennon warbled on in his dry,emotionless voice.Erin still found it baffling how her elderly history teacher could make the most important events and vicious battles in human history seem so boring.Regardless of if he was discussing the creation of a significant law or describing a vicious assassination of a important political figure,his voice never once betrayed the slightest hint of interest or emotion,and as such his class suffered.Barely anyone was really paying attention and if Erin was honest it was quicker and more informative to simply pick up a textbook and read about the events in question as opposed to actually listening to the teacher.Normally this would have been the case for her,but today her thoughts were still dwelling on the unusual events of earlier that morning.It still felt a little surreal to her when she thought back on it now.She found herself wondering at the old woman's cryptic parting words as well as the strange gift she had been given.She reached for her school bag once more and opened it before looking over the banana once again.She could see nothing out of the ordinary with it,it was just a simple banana.So why had the old woman given it to her like it was something special?

These questions and more ran through Erin's mind but were suddenly swept away as her eyes glanced towards the windows.She'd subconsciously noticed the classroom darkening and her eyes had quickly moved to learn the reason for it.They now widened in mild surprise as she realized that the previously mild-looking sky had alarmingly darkened to an almost black turbulent one.Her incredulity only increased as the sky flashed briefly and a loud thunderclap cut Mr Brennon's monologue off mid-sentence.

"What on earth...?"He muttered in confusion,his voice finally registering some emotion.

The entire classroom was paying notice now to the abrupt change in the weather.Many of them pointing at the sky and muttering in bewilderment.Another flash and thunderclap shook the air and suddenly sheets of rain began to pelt the windows with alarming force.

"Stay away from the windows everybody!"Said Mr Brennon in alarm."All of your return to your seats and remain here while I consult the headmaster about this strange change in the weather."

He hurriedly left the room with a nervous backward glance.His command for the class to return to their seats went unheeded as everyone chatted noisily with one another over the bizarre event.Even Erin herself was somewhat perturbed by what was happening.The storm had seemingly sprung from out of nowhere and without any warning.In fact as she recalled from the previous evening,the weatherwoman had predicted nothing but clear skies all day long.While it wasn't unheard of that the weather forecast wasn't 100% accurate,there was something unnatural about how this semi-typhoon had sprung up out of the blue.

She was just wondering if she should call her mother on her mobile about the sudden squall but just then something strange happened that almost made her forget about the wacky weather.She suddenly heard a small,high-pitched voice speak from right next to her ear.

"This looks bad Erin!I think we'll need to do something about this!"

Erin whirled around,looking for the person who had spoken but none of her classmates were even standing near her.The voice had clearly come from right next to her but there wasn't anyone there.There was suddenly a high-pitched giggle next to her other ear that made her whirl around again"Heehee!It's no use looking for me Erin!You can't see me right now.But if we go someplace private then I'll show myself to you.Oh and don't forget your bag!"The voice sounded feminine and had a strange ringing quality to it."Thi-this is crazy..."Erin murmured."Yeah it really is!"said one of her closest classmates."The wind is getting insane out there!It's even moving the cars a bit!"

It seemed that she was the only one who could hear the mysterious voice so Erin decided to do as it asked.She wasn't quite sure why exactly but something about the voice made her want to trust it.She quietly grabbed her bag and entered the hallway where she heard the voice again."It's still a little too open out here.Is there a bathroom or something we can use?"Erin nodded,not sure if she should speak but the voice seemed to have noticed."Okay,lead the way then!"

Erin headed down the hall and took a left turn before arriving at the girl's toilets.She quickly stepped inside and looked around.It didn't seem like anyone else was here."Okay I think we're alone..."Erin said cautiously."Now show yourself!"There was a soft "pop" in front of her and suddenly a strange being was hovering before her.

At first glance it looked like a small,half-peeled banana but as Erin quickly realized it had a tiny face with two small,cute eyes with a little mouth slightly below.It also had dimples of a sort and wore a small blue medallion of sorts on it's "peel".It also appeared to emit a soft glow around it and left a sparkling trail as it moved.

"Here I am!"it said chipperly.

"Aaaah!!"screamed Erin in shock,causing the little creature to use it's "peel" like hands to cover the sides of it's "head"."Not so loud Erin!"it piped."There's no reason to be frightened!"

"You-you're a...a talking banana!?"Gaped Erin.The creature lowered her "arms" as it's tiny face seemed to take on a slightly poutish expression."I'm not a talking banana!I'm Banini!"She proclaimed a little indignantly.

"Buh-Banini?"Said Erin a little dazed by the strangeness of the whole situation."That's right!"said Banini cheerfully."I've been sent to you by the old lady you helped this morning.She made me, especially for you to be your friend and helper."

"A friend...?"Repeated Erin skeptically."Yes!"Chirped Banini."She said you seemed lonely and that you'd probably need someone to help you get used to your powers and-"Erin suddenly interjected."Powers?"She asked."Oh that's right!"Said Banini."They won't be active yet since you haven't eaten the Banana she gave you.But once you do you'll have powers beyond your wildest dreams!"

Erin reached into her bag and pulled out the banana but much to her surprise it was glowing now with a strange luminousity.She held it out in front of her,feeling a strange feeling emanating from the fruit.Like it was vibrating very slightly and giving off a faint warmth."Eating this will give me powers?"

"That's right!" declared Banini."You see my mistress was so impressed with your conduct this morning that she decided that you were worthy of an incredible gift that she'd been wanting to bestow upon someone with a truly good and noble soul.She's been looking for a very long time now but she'd struggled to find someone with courage,compassion and kindness in abundance.Someone who wouldn't misuse the great boon she wished to bestow.That someone is you Erin."

It took several moments for it all to sink in.But once it did Erin immediately tried to contest the compliment."Me?But...I'm nobody special!I...I just did what was natural this morning.Anyone else would have done the same thing!"

Banini shook her little body from side to side in the approximation of a headshake."That isn't so sadly.Horrible as it sounds there are plenty of rotten people out there who wouldn't have behaved as you did Erin.You were kind and you expected nothing in return for it.You are a good person and soon...You'll be able to do more good than you can ever have imagined.Now,hurry and eat the banana!"

It seemed impossible to dissuade the sprite.Erin held up the banana again tentively.This all just felt so surreal. Talking banana's...magic banana's that granted powers...it all seemed so insane.Maybe she was dreaming.Yes.Maybe this was all just some wacky dream and she was still at home in her bed.So what could be the harm in playing along with it?

"Alright!"Said Erin firmly."I'll do it!"

She deftly peeled the fruit,inside of it's skin the banana's glow was even more intense.It was like she was holding a piece of light shaped like a banana.She had to really wonder if it was safe to eat such a thing but then she reassured herself that it was all just a dream.She lifted the banana to her lips and opened her mouth wide as she moved it into her mouth.She could almost swear she could feel the light emanating off it inside of her mouth.Then she took a deep bite and was rewarded as the most incredible taste she'd ever experienced exploded inside of her mouth.It was like the normal flavor and texture of a banana but dialed up by a thousand.It was pure banana-flavored bliss!Without even thinking she chewed and swallowed and then took another big bite followed by another.She simply couldn't devour it fast enough.It was heaven!Before she knew it she had eaten the entire thing and was left holding a disappointingly empty skin.She finished chewing the last mouthful and swallowed before wiping her mouth on her sleeve.She opened her mouth without even thinking to inquire if it was possible to have another but then she stopped as she became aware of a feeling in the core of her being.

It was a feeling unlike anything Erin had experienced before.Difficult to define or describe,it was akin to a mass of warmth, power and pleasure building in the very center of her being.As it grew stronger she could feel it flowing throughout her form,snaking through her limbs,reaching the very tips of her fingers and toes.It suddenly felt as though it were everywhere.All the while it didn't stop building and growing stronger.It almost felt as though it were pushing outwards against her form as if it were trying to escape but her body wouldn't allow it.Instead it seemed to respond in a different way and seemed to expand in response to the growing power.

Outwardly,Erin's body began to do just that.Very gradually her slender,youthful body began to increase in size and stature.Muscles began to slowly swell and develop into larger shapes,pressing against the confines of her school uniform.The skirt slowly slid higher and higher up her thighs as the shirt and blazer tightened against an enlarging torso.Erin was unaware of this however.Her eyes were closed tight,her face a mask of ecstasy and joy as the feeling continued to bubble and build inside of her.Soft moans and coos of delight escaped her lips which curiously began to undergo their own changes along with the rest of her features.Erin's face,youthful and pretty in countenance,began to acquire a more mature aspect.It was as though time had sped up and Erin was aging several years in an instant,becoming 17,18 and then 19 before speeding along into her twenties.But it wasn't just a simple acceleration of time at play,Erin's features were also becoming fairer and more lovely in appearence,her features attractive qualities becoming amplified while the few flaws that were present became negligible.Within seconds her face was almost unrecognizable as Erin Wilson's, possessing a strong resemblance but dramatically more mature and attractive in nature.She appeared no longer as a girl,but as a woman.

Meanwhile Erin's hair underwent a similar change.As her features altered themselves,so too did her tresses begin to transform.Slowly Erin's neck-length mousy brown hair began to lengthen as it's hue started to lighten.As it crept down her shoulders it began to become more lustrous and become more curly as it's tone lightened to a dull blonde.Finally as it flowed down to the middle of her back it had fully transformed from it's former short,brown bob into a flowing mane of golden blonde tresses that complimented her new features flawlessly.

All this while,her form and physique had been growing and developing,ceasing to be the body of a slender young lady but instead becoming that of a tall,muscular amazon.Her being now seemed to perfectly capture the feeling of power and vitality that she was experiencing with huge powerful muscles that complimented her feminine figure magnificently.Her formerly modest bust had swelled to become mighty mounds that thrust forward demanding as if they cried for freedom.Her clothing could simply no longer contain the being that Erin had become,it had to yield to the mighty form that now strained to emerge from it's confines like a butterfly emerging from a chrysalis.

And yield they did but clearly, this eventuality had been foreseen.Just as Erin's clothes gave up the ghost,she became aware of a strange feeling flowing across her body,as though something had suddenly slid over her skin.She abruptly became aware that there was something new that hadn't been there before beneath her outer clothes.A new layer of material that now encased her form from head to foot and even over part of her face.It felt tight but not constrictive, pleasing against her flesh in a way that no garment had felt before.She looked down just in time as the front of her blazer tore down the middle,even as her shirt beneath burst open in a shower of buttons. Beneath both layers of fabric there was another, something sleek,blue and shiny.She watched in flabbergasted awe as her now majestic bosom erupted forward covered in what appeared to be blue spandex or latex.She wasn't quite sure which since it had the luster and sheen of latex but lacked the rubberized feel,instead feeling very smooth and stretchy.The rest of her uniform fared no better,sleeves exploded apart as her mighty,muscled arms broke free,bulging biceps and thunderous triceps fabulously flexing all the while.The back and shoulders of the blazer and shirt also burst apart, tearing dramatically to reveal a flowing golden cape that unfurled behind her.

Meanwhile the skirt that had formerly fit so well around Erin's slender legs was now riding uncomfortably around a pair of towering thighs and a powerful posterior.It lasted mere seconds before Erin spread her legs in an effort to alleviate the discomfort.The skirt tore violently apart,shredding straight down the middle to reveal Erin's powerful piston-like legs which were also covered in the same blue material as her torso.A yellow belt sat around her tight waist,a stylized "B" shaped buckle set in the middle.Erin's stockings and shoes on the other hand,were assailed from within before they tore apart,a pair of bright yellow boots with a banana-themed design now covered her feet and legs all the way up to the middle of her thighs.A small stiletto heel emerging on each boot to further add to Erin's now considerable size.A matching pair of gloves had magically materialized around her hands and forearms and complimented the rest of the banana-styled costume.Lastly a mask had formed over her upper face with holes for her eyes.It also had a pair of Banana-shaped horns that jutted proudly from the top of Erin's head and poked out from her majestic golden mane.

This all happened within the span of a few seconds,the most amazing of Erin's young life thus far.It had felt unbelievably good. Unlike anything, she'd ever felt before but it wasn't over by any means.The feeling now seemed to have stabilized somewhat but remained present as Erin now took stock of her transformed person.

"Oh...Oh my gosh!!"A strong,womanly voice rang out.Almost making Erin jump before she realized that it was her own.Like her body,it had changed and matured from it's formerly soft,girlish tone to a more fitting voice that suited her new self to a tee."Muh-my voice!My body!!Wha-what's happened to me!!!"She whirled around,her cape and hair billowing out behind her as she turned around to gaze into one of the bathroom mirrors.Her incredulation only grew as she saw her new reflection in the mirror.Instead of a pretty but plain schoolgirl staring back at her like she was used to,a buff,busty,blonde amazon in a fantastic blue and yellow costume gaped at her with a stupified expression.It was quite a bizarre feeling to see another person staring back at her in the mirror,she could hardly recognize herself.In fact the only thing that seemed to have remained unchanged was her green eyes,other than that she might have well swapped bodies with a contender for Ms Olympia!

Her feelings on the matter were quite conflicted and intense.At first she was filled with an overwhelming sense of awe at her reflection without it fully sinking in that this was her now.Then that notion seemed to settle and Erin felt an amazing sense of joy fill her.She looked amazing!She was beautiful!She was strong!And she was grown-up!Her gloved hands moved to explore her face,gliding over her lips and nose then moving up over the mask to run her fingers through her hair(she looked great as a blonde!)then she looked down and felt a strange surge of both satisfaction and embarrassment as she noticed her chest.The latter of the pair quickly evaporated and she moved on to her arms.She lifted one and flexed it slowly and felt her awe return as her upper arm bulged with raw muscle."Holy cow!"She exclaimed,her new voice jarring her slightly once again.She drew herself up slowly and flexed the other arm in a classic bodybuilder pose that she'd seen one time and laughed dizzily at the spectacle of the curvacious costumed woman in the reflection grinning back at her."This is AMAZING!!!"She cried in delight.

"I knew you'd like it!"Chirped Banini who had remained silent while Erin had been examining herself."It might take some getting used to but I'm sure you'll be comfortable with it in no time!"

"Yeah..."Murmured Erin dazedly as she ran a hand over her stomach,feeling the tight buns of muscle that formed her abs with amazement."Wait..."she suddenly said with a hint of alarm in her voice as a horrible realization crept over her."How am I going to explain this!?What's mum going to say when she sees me like this!?How am I going to tell the teachers that it's me!?I look completely different!!"

"Calm down Erin!It's going to be fine!Piped Banini."You can change back to your former self if you wish...well actually you'll change back even if you don't."

"What do you mean?"Asked Erin as she felt a surge of relief wash over her.

"I mean that you'll only be in this form for a little while.After that you should change back to your former self,clothes and all!"Asserted Banini confidently.

"Really?"Erin looked down at the floor,only just now remembering her torn clothes but to her surprise they'd vanished completely as though they'd never been there."Hey they're gone!"

"They'll come back."Reassured Banini."Now listen closely Erin.Because what I'm about to tell you is very important!As you can see you're no longer Erin Wilson,you've been transformed into the ultimate you.A version of yourself blessed with incredible power!You are now...Bananawoman!"

"B-Banana...Woman!?"Exclaimed Erin with a hint of laughter in her voice."You're joking right?"

"I'm not joking!"Said Banini a little huffily."You ate a banana to trigger receive your powers right?Your costume looks banana-themed right?And you have a "B" right on your belt there.What else could you be called but Bananawoman?"

Erin glanced at her reflection again.There was quite the number of descriptive titles that certainly could apply to her right now but Banini did have a point.And the more she thought about it the more...right it seemed.Like it was natural she should be so named."Bananawoman..."she whispered softly.

"Yes.Now no more interrupting!This is important!"Banini insisted.Erin nodded in understanding."Now..."Continued Banini."It isn't just your appearance that's changed Erin!As I said before,you'll have amazing powers now,powers that must be used for the cause of good!You now have the strength of twenty women.Twenty BIG Women!"

"Well I certainly feel like it!"Said Erin enthusiastically as she flexed her arms again playfully."I feel like I could wrestle King Kong with these!

Banini grinned at Erin's jubulation."And...You'll be nearly invulnerable to harm!Bullets,bombs.They won't leave a scratch on your invincible bod!"

"Really?"Said Erin in awe."You mean I'm completely invincible!?"

"Well..."said Banini as she rubbed the back of her "head" with her wing."I said nearly...It's a little complicated you see.You can't be seriously harmed while in this form technically.You might feel a bit of discomfort or slight pain if you're hit with something REALLY,REALLY hard but other than that you can't be really hurt or injured.You won't take any kind of proper physical damage but if you are attacked with something really powerful then it might overcome your magical protection and "short-circuit" the transformation in a manner of speaking which will cause you to change back and you CAN be harmed still as your ordinary self."

"So...how will I know what "REALLY,REALLY hard" is?That's a little vague."said Erin.

"You'll know.You should be able to sense your own power.Like right now you should feel like you're brimming with energy right?Like you could benchpress a bus for a whole day?"

Erin nodded.That was a good way to summerize it.She still felt like her body was throbbing with power.

"Well you'll be able to feel when that power is being depleted or is in danger of shutting off.You'll just know.But as I said you're pretty much invulnerable to everything else.Stuff that would kill a normal person times over will probably just tickle to you so you've got nothing to worry about."

Erin felt a little more reassured but she was still a little wary on the whole "invulnerable" thing.

"You'll also be super-fast too!"Chirped Banini."Not just in how you move but you'll be able to think and perceive things faster as well!"

"Wow!Now that sounds like it'll be handy!"Exclaimed Erin."How fast are we talking about here?"

"Umm...I'm not exactly sure..."Said Banini with a hint of embarrassment."You might just need to get a feel for it."

"Oh...Well I guess that should be too hard to find out."Said Erin a little put down."Anything else?"

"Oh!"piped Banini."Yes how could I forget,you can fly as well!"

"I can fly!!?"Shouted Erin in amazement."You mean like properly fly through the air like...superman or something!?"

"Not like Superman or something!"Said Banini with a smirk."Like a Bananawoman!

"But you mean it though?"Inquired Erin fervently."I can really,really fly?"

"Yes silly!"Giggled Banini."You really can!Give it a try!"

Erin paused a moment uncertainly."Ummm..how?"

"Just push with your power"Said Banini as though it was the most natural thing in the world."You just do it."

"Just push with my power..."Murmured Erin slowly.Just how did one do that she wondered.But she decided against trying to question Banini further and instead tried to heed her advice.Everything else so far seemed to check out and she had a strange feeling that if she just put her doubts aside and tried,she'd be able to do it.She hesitated and then "Pushed" with the power inside of her.Almost immediately she felt her body rise of the ground,her feet leaving the floor beneath her as her head bumped against the ceiling.

"Oh!Oh!!I'm doing it!!I'm doing it!!"She cried as she awkwardly flailed with her arms.For some reason she wasn't moving out of control or losing balance even though it felt like she should.

"Not in here silly!"Shouted Banini."You'll go through the roof if you're not careful!"

Erin ceased pushing and her body instantly drifted back down to the floor."Wow!It really was as easy as you said!"She said breathlessly."That was fantastic!"

Banini smiled again at Erin's contagious excitement."You didn't do badly for your first attempt but you'll be able to get some practice in a minute when we head out to put a stop to the person behind this wacky weather!

"Person?You mean someone's causing all that outside?How is that even possible?"asked Erin in disbelief.

"Well you just flew right now and isn't that supposed to be impossible?"Asked Banini cheekily."Just trust me okay?My mistress has used her magic to discover the cause of this awful weather.It's a madwoman named Gladys Gloom who has built some kind of device that is doing all of this!You have to stop her!"

For a moment Erin hesitated.Just who did Banini think she was?Granted she'd had the mother of all makeovers as well as an instant crash course in bodybuilding it seemed,but she was still the same Erin beneath it all.And she was supposed to fly off(fly!) to God knows where to stop a literal mad scientist?It was crazy!But at the same time Erin knew something else deep down inside,she had power now...power to do so much good if she chose to do so.And if she didn't do something,right here,right now,who would?There was no guarantee that this weather wasn't going to worsen or that someone might be hurt if it continued.She had the power to do something and she knew where the one responsible was.She had to act.

"You're right..."Erin said softly before her voice became firm with heroic resolve."I have to do this.This is a job for....Bananawoman!"

She admittedly felt a bit of a surge of geekish joy at the declaration but it felt fitting somehow.She sprang towards the bathroom door and flung it open as she stepped into the hallway.Banini quickly followed her and darted ahead towards the nearest exit."Right on Bananawoman!Now follow me!I'll lead the way!"She piped as she shot down the hall.Erin was fast on her heels,dashing by several classrooms in the process.It was a bit of a miracle that nobody noticed her but she somehow made her way to the doors without being spotted.She stared outside at the rain now beating down in a raging downpour.If she wasn't every bit as strong and invulnerable as Banini claimed she was this was going to be unpleasant.Banini floated though the doors and hovered outside for her.Erin guessed that she was somehow able to pass through things via magic and that was why the weather didn't seem to be bothering her either.Erin opened the doors and followed her and was greeted by the rain outside beating down on her and the wind blowing her cape and hair out behind her.It didn't feel as bad as she'd imagined it would as the wind seemed unable to budge her and the rain was just an annoyance.Erin found herself grateful for the costume however as it seemed to be waterproof.Banini rose into the air and called out to her but the wind drowned out her tiny voice.Nethertheless,Erin deduced what she might have said and moved to follow her.Once again she "pushed" with her power and rose into the air,this time however she angled herself properly and posed in a superheroic fashion,thusting one fist up above her while holding the other to her side and angling her legs.She also used more force this time with there being no roof to worry about and she was surprised by the speed at which she whipped into the air.Within seconds the school below was dwindling beneath her as she rose higher and higher.She propelled herself faster upwards as she headed for the clouds.Banini was impressively able to keep pace with her.Depsite the rain and wind beating down on them they were able to hit the clouds above and break through.Erin found herself almost dazzled as she felt clear sunlight hit her drenched face.

""Phew!That's much better!" She said as she shook her hair,a little annoyed that her new golden tresses had been soaked.Banini chimed in agreeing with her."Yeah!Now that we're above the clouds,all you need to do is follow me this way and I'll lead you right to Gloom's hideout!"Erin nodded eagerly."Lead on then little chum!"She said as she propelled herself after her companion.

A few minutes later in the lair of Dr Gloom...

It had been almost an hour since she'd made her declaration and laid down the terms of her ransom.Almost an hour since she'd released the fury of her weather machine against the hapless town of Bellington.Right now the town was surrounded in a small hurricane of ever-increasing force.She'd started the machine off slow at first but as the hour had worn on Gladys had gradually increased the machine's power until now where it was sitting at almost 45% of it's Maximum potency.By now the people of Bellington would probably be praying for a miracle as the rain reached flooding levels and the wind clocked at speeds of over 90mph.The British government however were still being slow to take her seriously.Perhaps it was time to raise the power all the way up to 60% and show them what she could really do...

At that moment however, there was a loud "CRASH!!" from above.Gladys jumped in shock and stared upwards at the roof of the room.What on earth had that been?It sounded like a car had just dropped through the roof of the building she currently used as her laboratory.There was promptly a second crash as the roof of the room suddenly caved in from above.Gladys shrieked in terror as she shielded herself with her arms from the falling debris.But when she looked up to see what had burst through the roof she was flabbergasted to see a tall, musclebound blonde-haired woman in a bizarre blue and yellow costume dusting herself off.Amazingly the woman wasn't even harmed,she looked as though she might as well have stepped through an open door rather than ploughing through a roof.The woman glanced casually around her as she seemed to address someone who Gladys couldn't see."Wow!You weren't joking about the strength of twenty women thing were you!Those floors felt like they were made of polystyrene rather than steel!And it certainly seems like we're in the right place.This room virtually screams mad scientist...Oh hello there!"The woman finally seemed to notice Gladys."You must be Gladys Gloom right?"

"Wh-who are you!?"Spluttered Gladys in shock."Ho-how did you g-g-get in here!?"

"Through the roof obviously!"The woman said a little condescendingly."I thought a mad scientist would be a bit more observant.As for who I am...I.Am Bananawoman!"

"B-Bananawoman?"Stammered Gladys in confusion.Certainly the woman's costume seemed to give off a banana-like theme but why on earth would she give herself such a ridiculous moniker?

"Yes Bananawoman."Said the heroine irritably as she placed her hands on her hips."Now look Miss Gloom.I'm going to give you one chance to turn off your weather machine now and surrender before I have to get rough.Will you come quietly or not?

Gladys shook herself out of her stupified reverie.Of course she wasn't just going to surrender in her moment of triumph!And certainly not to some big-breasted blue and yellow suited bimbo!However she'd pulled that stunt with the ceiling,Gladys wasn't about to let herself be cowed by some costumed clown.She quickly grabbed another one of her devices and leveled it at the heroine."Of course I won't come quietly you caped cretin!You think you can scare me with your palor tricks!?I am DOCTOR Gladys Gloom!Genius extraordinaire!Now how about I demonstrate another one of my amazing inventions,The positronic disintegrator!Prepare to have your atoms scattered across all creation Banana-Bimbo!"

Gladys pulled the trigger releasing a beam of ultra-charged particles that rocketed at the heroine who didn't even try to move out of the way.To Gladys's shock however the beam struck Bananawoman dead on the chest but instead of tearing a hole through her body it seemed to just fizzle out.Bananawoman looked down at where it had hit her and giggled."Was that supposed to hurt or tickle?Because it certainly felt like the latter to me!"

"Impossible!"hissed Gladys in terror."You-You should be dead!"

"Well I'm not DOCTOR Gloom."Said Bananawoman cheekily."Now since you can't seem to play nice with your toys I'm afraid I'm going to have to take them off you."Bananawoman suddenly became a blue and yellow blur,crossing the space between them in an instant.Before Gladys could react,Bananawoman had snatched the positronic disintegrator from her hand and simply pressed her hands around it.There was a muffled sound of crushing metal and a small explosion before Bananawoman opened her hands and allowed a small wisp of smoke to waft out."I really was expecting more of a punch from that with the fancy name.Oh well!Now onto the next toy!"To Gladys's horror Bananawoman sprang towards her weather machine."Noooo!Don't destroy my precious machine!!I'll-I'll cut you a deal!!Spare my device and I'll cut you in on the ransom!"Bananawoman scowled in annoyance."I can't be bought Gloom.People like you who act out of love for money or fame make me sick.With your brilliance, you could have done some real good but instead, you stooped to petty thuggery and blackmail.Well your evil ambitions end here!"With a mighty blow,Bananawoman leveled the machine,reducing the devilish device to sizzling scrap with a single punch and Gloom's ambitions with it.

"NNNNNNNNNNNNOOOOOOOOOOO!!"Howled Gloom as she slumped to the floor in utter defeat.Bananawoman lowered her outstretched fist and gazed at the villain with a look of mixed contempt and pity before grabbing her roughly by the back of the oversized labcoat."You're coming with me to prison Gloom.Hopefully some time behind bars will make you realize that intelligence like yours should be used for good instead of evil.Now let's go."With a mighty bound,Bananawoman leapt up through the opening in the ceiling she had made upon her arrival with her captive in tow.

A short while later...

Detective Barbara O'Reily had never seen anything like it in all her years on the force.One minute the skies were black with rain and wind that were almost threatening to tear down Bellington Police station and the next the torrential rain had completely ceased,the ominous clouds had parted and the hurricane winds had settled into a gentle breeze.It was almost like someone had turned off a switch in the clouds.But that wasn't the end to the weirdness as just when she and her colleagues had stepped outside to take a look,the most amazing thing had happened,something that made the wild weather seem normal by comparison.A costumed woman had descended from the clearing skies bearing a small sniviling woman under a muscular arm.She politely explained to the agast officers that this woman was the one responsible for the bizarre phenomenon and to lock her up immediately before excusing herself and simply flying away.Just as she and her fellow officers had been deliberating what to do with the other woman,word had come in that this "Doctor Gloom" was indeed responsible for the weather and that she was to be apprehended as soon as possible.Needless to say the fiend had been behind bars before you could say "bob's your uncle" but the mystery of the Flying Woman was the talk of the town,who was she?Where did she come from and would they see her again?These were questions that Barbara found herself asking herself over and over again.Little did she know that she'd learn the answer to these questions soon enough...

In the skies above Bellington Hight School.

"I can't believe we actually did it!"Exclaimed Bananawoman jubilantly as she came to a halt just above the school."I mean we actually stopped a supervillain!!Or well a mad scientist anyway.But even so that was amazing!!"

"Don't you mean YOU did it Erin?"Piped Banini."After all you were the one who smashed her machine and took her to prison."

"Yeah but you showed me where it was and helped me with my powers and everything..."Protested Bananawoman"It was a team effort.I wouldn't have been able to do any of it without you Banini!"

"Awww shucks!"Squealed Banini in embarrassment."Thanks Bananawoman!You really are as humble as my mistress said you were."

Erin grinned."I still need to thank her for these amazing powers!"

"There's no need."Said Banini."These powers were a reward and merely by using them for the right cause is all the thanks my mistress needs!Besides I'd say you've already more than earned them!"

This time it was Erin's turn to blush beneath her mask."Thank you Banini...That means a lot to me.Well I guess if this role is mine then I'll play it to the fullest.Look out world,here comes Bananawoman!"

14th March,Bellington.England.

The day started out the same as any other school day for 15-year-old Erin Wilson.She got up,had her breakfast and got ready for another day at school.Homework was hurridly checked over,goodbyes were exchanged with her mother and then away she went.She walked the same route to school that she had for the past five years without the faintest inkling of what awaited her or that her hitherto ordinary life was about to take an extraordinary turn that Wednesday morning...

Erin's thoughts wandered without any particular purpose as she walked down Langly Crescent towards the direction of her school. Her morning walk to school had become somewhat lonelier as of late since her friend Sally had moved away and generally, she found herself missing her friend greatly.The pair had been inseparable for years and though she was a warm and friendly person,Erin didn't really have anyone else at Bellington High she was particularly close to.Though she'd kept in touch with Sally over the phone and e-mail,she could tell that her friend was having an easier time getting over their separation than she was.Already the communications from her friend were becoming less frequent and more filled with references to new friends she had made.It didn't make Erin jealous or anything,she was glad for her friend's happiness but sometimes she wished that there was another friend in her life.A companion who wouldn't leave or abandon her but who would always be there when she needed her and for Erin to be there for in return.

As she continued down the road she noticed the figure of an elderly woman slightly ahead of her,shuffling slowly down the street.It wasn't an uncommon sight for the small town but as a local Erin was pretty familiar with most of the old folks nearby and she couldn't recall having ever seen this particular old lady before.As she drew closer,Erin suddenly noticed something lying on the pavement before her.When she drew closer she realized quickly that it appeared to be an elegant looking purse that had likely fallen from the old woman's bag.Due to how it had fallen,the purse had opened up slightly and Erin was somewhat astonished to see that the purse appeared to be almost bulging with notes.The young woman's eyes widened a little at the sight of the dizzying sight of the small fortune but she didn't hesitate as she carefully picked the purse back up and closed it before breaking into a small jog to catch up with the old woman.

"Excuse me?"Erin called out politely."Ma'am?I think you've dropped your purse!"

The old lady turned around to face her.Though her features were worn and wrinkly,there was a strong indication that she'd been quite an attractive lady in her prime.Her eyes however were lively and vibrant and seemed to carry no indication of age or weariness but rather seemed to almost glow with a strange intensity and inner light that Erin had never seen before."Why thank you my dear!"The old woman said warmly in what was possibly the most grandmotherly voice Erin had ever heard."I must have dropped it without noticing.Silly me.And with all my savings in as well.It's a good thing that such a kind and honest young lady like yourself found it or I would have been in quite the pickle!"

Erin smiled humbly as she handed the purse back to the old woman."You're very welcome."She said a little abashed at the woman's gratitude and compliment."You take care now and have a lovely day."She made to depart and be on her way but the old woman quicky interjected."Oh you wouldn't mind if I asked you for some directions before you leave would you?"She asked sweetly."I'm quite new to this town and I need to find the post office to post some mail.Could you point me in the right direction?"Erin hesitated a moment as she pondered the question and the time she had to spare before school but her altruism won through once more."Of course.I've got a little time before I'm due for school.I can show you the way if you like?"She said graciously."Oh that would be wonderful!The old lady said eagerly."You're too kind my dear."Erin offered the old woman her arm and the lady took it,then they began to head down the road arm in arm at a somewhat concerning pace for Erin.She began to wonder if her offer had been a mistake as they moved down the road at a leisurely crawl,despite the fact she had a little bit of time before school she didn't want to end up running late.Nevertheless she remained silent and continued to escort the old lady to the end of the street and then down the road towards the post office and the opposite direction of the school.

After a few minutes that felt like much longer to the slightly anxious Erin they finally neared their destination.Erin was about to point out the post office to the old woman when the lady piped up first"Oh there it is!I see it now my dear.I should be alright from here,you run along now and get to school.I don't want to take up any more of your precious time."Erin hesitated."Are you sure?"She asked inquisitively."I don't mind helping you cross the road."The old woman smiled."I'll be fine from here my dear.Thank you so much for all your kindness.You really are the nicest young person I've come across in a long time.You truly have a generous and honest spirit,quite the rare quality in this day and age."Erin blushed furiously at the lady's kind words."Oh it was nothing really.I was happy to help."She gushed awkwarly,unused to such high praise."Have a nice day now and take care!"She started to head back down the street as the old woman waved at her warmly."And the same to you my dear.God bless you."

Erin waved back before turning and heading back the way they had came up the road.Despite the small inconvenience to her,she didn't really mind having helped the old woman and it didn't even occur to her that she possibly deserved a reward for her kind actions.Just as Erin had gone a short distance though she heard the sound of a car engine coming from behind her.She turned around to look out of curiosity and fleeting concern for the old woman and suddenly felt her heart almost stop as she beheld a terrifying sight.

The old woman had hobbled out a short way into the middle of the road,seemingly intent on crossing while there was no traffic.But a car had just come blazing round a nearby turn and was now bearing down on the old woman at worrying speed.It only took Erin's mind a fraction of a second to leap to the conclusion that the old woman would be unable to get out of the way before the car reached her or possibly slammed on it's brakes.She had to act!

On pure instinct,Erin leapt into action,dropping her bag as she broke into a frantic dash towards the old woman.She'd always been fairly average at P.E during school but she was mercifully fast enough to reach the old woman in time.She grabbed her under her arms and pulled her back just in the nick of time as the car screeched past,the driver having slammed their brakes on at the very last second but ultimately too late to avoid a terrible accident if not for Erin's timely intervention.

Erin and the old lady fell back onto the pavement with Erin being careful to take the brunt of the tumble.She quickly sat up and looked at the old woman in concern but thankfully she seemed to be fine,though a little dazed.Erin's relief quicky turned to indignant anger however as she turned around in the direction of the car,fully intent on giving the driver a good earful for their reckless speeding.To Erin's further outage however, the car had already started moving again and was hurtling up the street again.The driver either already satisfied or uncaring of Erin and the old lady's wellbeing.Erin made a quick mental note of the car make and color though it was sadly already a bit too far away for her to make our the registration clearly.It was a grey Mercedes however and Erin locked that fact away in her steel-trap mind for later.With nothing to be done about the careless driver,Erin returned her attention to the old lady again."Are you alright miss?Are you hurt anywhere?"She asked worriedly,now concerned that she might have been too rough in her efforts to save her or that the shock might have an adverse affect on the elderly lady but to her relief the old woman simply smiled in a rather nonchalant fashion."I'm fine dear,thanks to you."She said with strangely no hint of fear or alarm over her close call."It seems that you also possess bravery and selflessness in equal proportions to your honesty, charity and patience.You truly are an extraordinary young woman."Once again Erin was abashed by the woman's glowing praise but she didn't allow it or the old woman's very cavalier attitude to such a close shave derail her concern."Ummm thank you...But are you really sure you're alright?"

"Quite fine my dear."The old woman assured her with a strange conviction."But more importantly, it would seem I've finally found what I've been looking for at last.After so many years of searching for a worthy soul,at last I've found one deserving of the gift I have to grant."

Erin stood there,unsure of what to say.She was honestly beginning to wonder if the old woman was balmy or if the shock had made her take leave of her senses but the old lady seemed to sense her thoughts and smiled."Ah you probably think I've gone daft hmm?Well you wouldn't be the first to think that.I know this must all seem a little strange and confusing right now but things will make sense soon enough.For now Erin I want you to take this."The old woman reached into her handbag and withdrew and banana before pressing it into Erin's hand."Keep ahold of this for later and all will be made clear soon.For now though you should run along for school.I've taken up quite enough of your time with all this."

"A-alright..."Erin murmured in a daze.She took the banana and looked down at it for a moment to examine it.It simply appeared to be a normal banana however.But when she looked up to ask the old woman about the strange reward she almost jumped out of shock.The old woman had seemingly vanished in the few seconds that Erin had looked away.She quickly looked around to see if somehow the old lady had darted behind her(which seemed silly when she thought about it) but there wasn't a sign of her.Shaken by the strange experience,to say nothing of the near accident she'd narrowly averted moments earlier,Erin stood there for a few seconds in complete bewilderment before she remembered that she was running late.She hurriedly stuffed the Banana into her bag and then turned and dashed up the street as fast as her legs would carry her.

Meanwhile in a cliche secluded lair....

"SO!My weather machine is rubbish eh!?"Raved a shadowy figure in a high-pitched nasally voice."So puffed up and smug with their bloated male egos that they couldn't even consider the fact that I,Gladys Glum,have achieved the impossible and developed a devilish device capable of monitoring and manipulating metrological phenomenon!"The figure thrust a scrawny figure into the air with maniacal fervor."Now the disbelieving dolts will have all the proof they need of my blinding brilliance when I hold the city of....Hmm...which one should I hold for ransom....?"The voice trailed off for several moments as a map was hastily consulted and then the rant continued"Bellington!Yes!The city(well more of a town really...) will serve as an example of my incredible intellect when I hold it in the grip of the worst weather this nation has ever seen!Then they'll pay!Pay for laughing at me!Pay for belittling me!Pay for all those times they called me "Ga-ga Gloom"!Pay with money!Lots and lots of money!And who will be laughing then!?Me!!that's who!!Mweheeheeheehehheheeeheheee!!"The crazed cackling echoed through the lair as a fateful lever was pulled and the wheels of fate began to turn once more...

Back in Bellington High....

Erin's history class trundled along at it's usual tedious pace as mr Brennon warbled on in his dry,emotionless voice.Erin still found it baffling how her elderly history teacher could make the most important events and vicious battles in human history seem so boring.Regardless of if he was discussing the creation of a significant law or describing a vicious assassination of a important political figure,his voice never once betrayed the slightest hint of interest or emotion,and as such his class suffered.Barely anyone was really paying attention and if Erin was honest it was quicker and more informative to simply pick up a textbook and read about the events in question as opposed to actually listening to the teacher.Normally this would have been the case for her,but today her thoughts were still dwelling on the unusual events of earlier that morning.It still felt a little surreal to her when she thought back on it now.She found herself wondering at the old woman's cryptic parting words as well as the strange gift she had been given.She reached for her school bag once more and opened it before looking over the banana once again.She could see nothing out of the ordinary with it,it was just a simple banana.So why had the old woman given it to her like it was something special?

These questions and more ran through Erin's mind but were suddenly swept away as her eyes glanced towards the windows.She'd subconsciously noticed the classroom darkening and her eyes had quickly moved to learn the reason for it.They now widened in mild surprise as she realized that the previously mild-looking sky had alarmingly darkened to an almost black turbulent one.Her incredulity only increased as the sky flashed briefly and a loud thunderclap cut Mr Brennon's monologue off mid-sentence.

"What on earth...?"He muttered in confusion,his voice finally registering some emotion.

The entire classroom was paying notice now to the abrupt change in the weather.Many of them pointing at the sky and muttering in bewilderment.Another flash and thunderclap shook the air and suddenly sheets of rain began to pelt the windows with alarming force.

"Stay away from the windows everybody!"Said Mr Brennon in alarm."All of your return to your seats and remain here while I consult the headmaster about this strange change in the weather."

He hurriedly left the room with a nervous backward glance.His command for the class to return to their seats went unheeded as everyone chatted noisily with one another over the bizarre event.Even Erin herself was somewhat perturbed by what was happening.The storm had seemingly sprung from out of nowhere and without any warning.In fact as she recalled from the previous evening,the weatherwoman had predicted nothing but clear skies all day long.While it wasn't unheard of that the weather forecast wasn't 100% accurate,there was something unnatural about how this semi-typhoon had sprung up out of the blue.

She was just wondering if she should call her mother on her mobile about the sudden squall but just then something strange happened that almost made her forget about the wacky weather.She suddenly heard a small,high-pitched voice speak from right next to her ear.

"This looks bad Erin!I think we'll need to do something about this!"

Erin whirled around,looking for the person who had spoken but none of her classmates were even standing near her.The voice had clearly come from right next to her but there wasn't anyone there.There was suddenly a high-pitched giggle next to her other ear that made her whirl around again"Heehee!It's no use looking for me Erin!You can't see me right now.But if we go someplace private then I'll show myself to you.Oh and don't forget your bag!"The voice sounded feminine and had a strange ringing quality to it."Thi-this is crazy..."Erin murmured."Yeah it really is!"said one of her closest classmates."The wind is getting insane out there!It's even moving the cars a bit!"

It seemed that she was the only one who could hear the mysterious voice so Erin decided to do as it asked.She wasn't quite sure why exactly but something about the voice made her want to trust it.She quietly grabbed her bag and entered the hallway where she heard the voice again."It's still a little too open out here.Is there a bathroom or something we can use?"Erin nodded,not sure if she should speak but the voice seemed to have noticed."Okay,lead the way then!"

Erin headed down the hall and took a left turn before arriving at the girl's toilets.She quickly stepped inside and looked around.It didn't seem like anyone else was here."Okay I think we're alone..."Erin said cautiously."Now show yourself!"There was a soft "pop" in front of her and suddenly a strange being was hovering before her.

At first glance it looked like a small,half-peeled banana but as Erin quickly realized it had a tiny face with two small,cute eyes with a little mouth slightly below.It also had dimples of a sort and wore a small blue medallion of sorts on it's "peel".It also appeared to emit a soft glow around it and left a sparkling trail as it moved.

"Here I am!"it said chipperly.

"Aaaah!!"screamed Erin in shock,causing the little creature to use it's "peel" like hands to cover the sides of it's "head"."Not so loud Erin!"it piped."There's no reason to be frightened!"

"You-you're a...a talking banana!?"Gaped Erin.The creature lowered her "arms" as it's tiny face seemed to take on a slightly poutish expression."I'm not a talking banana!I'm Banini!"She proclaimed a little indignantly.

"Buh-Banini?"Said Erin a little dazed by the strangeness of the whole situation."That's right!"said Banini cheerfully."I've been sent to you by the old lady you helped this morning.She made me, especially for you to be your friend and helper."

"A friend...?"Repeated Erin skeptically."Yes!"Chirped Banini."She said you seemed lonely and that you'd probably need someone to help you get used to your powers and-"Erin suddenly interjected."Powers?"She asked."Oh that's right!"Said Banini."They won't be active yet since you haven't eaten the Banana she gave you.But once you do you'll have powers beyond your wildest dreams!"

Erin reached into her bag and pulled out the banana but much to her surprise it was glowing now with a strange luminousity.She held it out in front of her,feeling a strange feeling emanating from the fruit.Like it was vibrating very slightly and giving off a faint warmth."Eating this will give me powers?"

"That's right!" declared Banini."You see my mistress was so impressed with your conduct this morning that she decided that you were worthy of an incredible gift that she'd been wanting to bestow upon someone with a truly good and noble soul.She's been looking for a very long time now but she'd struggled to find someone with courage,compassion and kindness in abundance.Someone who wouldn't misuse the great boon she wished to bestow.That someone is you Erin."

It took several moments for it all to sink in.But once it did Erin immediately tried to contest the compliment."Me?But...I'm nobody special!I...I just did what was natural this morning.Anyone else would have done the same thing!"

Banini shook her little body from side to side in the approximation of a headshake."That isn't so sadly.Horrible as it sounds there are plenty of rotten people out there who wouldn't have behaved as you did Erin.You were kind and you expected nothing in return for it.You are a good person and soon...You'll be able to do more good than you can ever have imagined.Now,hurry and eat the banana!"

It seemed impossible to dissuade the sprite.Erin held up the banana again tentively.This all just felt so surreal. Talking banana's...magic banana's that granted powers...it all seemed so insane.Maybe she was dreaming.Yes.Maybe this was all just some wacky dream and she was still at home in her bed.So what could be the harm in playing along with it?

"Alright!"Said Erin firmly."I'll do it!"

She deftly peeled the fruit,inside of it's skin the banana's glow was even more intense.It was like she was holding a piece of light shaped like a banana.She had to really wonder if it was safe to eat such a thing but then she reassured herself that it was all just a dream.She lifted the banana to her lips and opened her mouth wide as she moved it into her mouth.She could almost swear she could feel the light emanating off it inside of her mouth.Then she took a deep bite and was rewarded as the most incredible taste she'd ever experienced exploded inside of her mouth.It was like the normal flavor and texture of a banana but dialed up by a thousand.It was pure banana-flavored bliss!Without even thinking she chewed and swallowed and then took another big bite followed by another.She simply couldn't devour it fast enough.It was heaven!Before she knew it she had eaten the entire thing and was left holding a disappointingly empty skin.She finished chewing the last mouthful and swallowed before wiping her mouth on her sleeve.She opened her mouth without even thinking to inquire if it was possible to have another but then she stopped as she became aware of a feeling in the core of her being.

It was a feeling unlike anything Erin had experienced before.Difficult to define or describe,it was akin to a mass of warmth, power and pleasure building in the very center of her being.As it grew stronger she could feel it flowing throughout her form,snaking through her limbs,reaching the very tips of her fingers and toes.It suddenly felt as though it were everywhere.All the while it didn't stop building and growing stronger.It almost felt as though it were pushing outwards against her form as if it were trying to escape but her body wouldn't allow it.Instead it seemed to respond in a different way and seemed to expand in response to the growing power.

Outwardly,Erin's body began to do just that.Very gradually her slender,youthful body began to increase in size and stature.Muscles began to slowly swell and develop into larger shapes,pressing against the confines of her school uniform.The skirt slowly slid higher and higher up her thighs as the shirt and blazer tightened against an enlarging torso.Erin was unaware of this however.Her eyes were closed tight,her face a mask of ecstasy and joy as the feeling continued to bubble and build inside of her.Soft moans and coos of delight escaped her lips which curiously began to undergo their own changes along with the rest of her features.Erin's face,youthful and pretty in countenance,began to acquire a more mature aspect.It was as though time had sped up and Erin was aging several years in an instant,becoming 17,18 and then 19 before speeding along into her twenties.But it wasn't just a simple acceleration of time at play,Erin's features were also becoming fairer and more lovely in appearence,her features attractive qualities becoming amplified while the few flaws that were present became negligible.Within seconds her face was almost unrecognizable as Erin Wilson's, possessing a strong resemblance but dramatically more mature and attractive in nature.She appeared no longer as a girl,but as a woman.

Meanwhile Erin's hair underwent a similar change.As her features altered themselves,so too did her tresses begin to transform.Slowly Erin's neck-length mousy brown hair began to lengthen as it's hue started to lighten.As it crept down her shoulders it began to become more lustrous and become more curly as it's tone lightened to a dull blonde.Finally as it flowed down to the middle of her back it had fully transformed from it's former short,brown bob into a flowing mane of golden blonde tresses that complimented her new features flawlessly.

All this while,her form and physique had been growing and developing,ceasing to be the body of a slender young lady but instead becoming that of a tall,muscular amazon.Her being now seemed to perfectly capture the feeling of power and vitality that she was experiencing with huge powerful muscles that complimented her feminine figure magnificently.Her formerly modest bust had swelled to become mighty mounds that thrust forward demanding as if they cried for freedom.Her clothing could simply no longer contain the being that Erin had become,it had to yield to the mighty form that now strained to emerge from it's confines like a butterfly emerging from a chrysalis.

And yield they did but clearly, this eventuality had been foreseen.Just as Erin's clothes gave up the ghost,she became aware of a strange feeling flowing across her body,as though something had suddenly slid over her skin.She abruptly became aware that there was something new that hadn't been there before beneath her outer clothes.A new layer of material that now encased her form from head to foot and even over part of her face.It felt tight but not constrictive, pleasing against her flesh in a way that no garment had felt before.She looked down just in time as the front of her blazer tore down the middle,even as her shirt beneath burst open in a shower of buttons. Beneath both layers of fabric there was another, something sleek,blue and shiny.She watched in flabbergasted awe as her now majestic bosom erupted forward covered in what appeared to be blue spandex or latex.She wasn't quite sure which since it had the luster and sheen of latex but lacked the rubberized feel,instead feeling very smooth and stretchy.The rest of her uniform fared no better,sleeves exploded apart as her mighty,muscled arms broke free,bulging biceps and thunderous triceps fabulously flexing all the while.The back and shoulders of the blazer and shirt also burst apart, tearing dramatically to reveal a flowing golden cape that unfurled behind her.

Meanwhile the skirt that had formerly fit so well around Erin's slender legs was now riding uncomfortably around a pair of towering thighs and a powerful posterior.It lasted mere seconds before Erin spread her legs in an effort to alleviate the discomfort.The skirt tore violently apart,shredding straight down the middle to reveal Erin's powerful piston-like legs which were also covered in the same blue material as her torso.A yellow belt sat around her tight waist,a stylized "B" shaped buckle set in the middle.Erin's stockings and shoes on the other hand,were assailed from within before they tore apart,a pair of bright yellow boots with a banana-themed design now covered her feet and legs all the way up to the middle of her thighs.A small stiletto heel emerging on each boot to further add to Erin's now considerable size.A matching pair of gloves had magically materialized around her hands and forearms and complimented the rest of the banana-styled costume.Lastly a mask had formed over her upper face with holes for her eyes.It also had a pair of Banana-shaped horns that jutted proudly from the top of Erin's head and poked out from her majestic golden mane.

This all happened within the span of a few seconds,the most amazing of Erin's young life thus far.It had felt unbelievably good. Unlike anything, she'd ever felt before but it wasn't over by any means.The feeling now seemed to have stabilized somewhat but remained present as Erin now took stock of her transformed person.

"Oh...Oh my gosh!!"A strong,womanly voice rang out.Almost making Erin jump before she realized that it was her own.Like her body,it had changed and matured from it's formerly soft,girlish tone to a more fitting voice that suited her new self to a tee."Muh-my voice!My body!!Wha-what's happened to me!!!"She whirled around,her cape and hair billowing out behind her as she turned around to gaze into one of the bathroom mirrors.Her incredulation only grew as she saw her new reflection in the mirror.Instead of a pretty but plain schoolgirl staring back at her like she was used to,a buff,busty,blonde amazon in a fantastic blue and yellow costume gaped at her with a stupified expression.It was quite a bizarre feeling to see another person staring back at her in the mirror,she could hardly recognize herself.In fact the only thing that seemed to have remained unchanged was her green eyes,other than that she might have well swapped bodies with a contender for Ms Olympia!

Her feelings on the matter were quite conflicted and intense.At first she was filled with an overwhelming sense of awe at her reflection without it fully sinking in that this was her now.Then that notion seemed to settle and Erin felt an amazing sense of joy fill her.She looked amazing!She was beautiful!She was strong!And she was grown-up!Her gloved hands moved to explore her face,gliding over her lips and nose then moving up over the mask to run her fingers through her hair(she looked great as a blonde!)then she looked down and felt a strange surge of both satisfaction and embarrassment as she noticed her chest.The latter of the pair quickly evaporated and she moved on to her arms.She lifted one and flexed it slowly and felt her awe return as her upper arm bulged with raw muscle."Holy cow!"She exclaimed,her new voice jarring her slightly once again.She drew herself up slowly and flexed the other arm in a classic bodybuilder pose that she'd seen one time and laughed dizzily at the spectacle of the curvacious costumed woman in the reflection grinning back at her."This is AMAZING!!!"She cried in delight.

"I knew you'd like it!"Chirped Banini who had remained silent while Erin had been examining herself."It might take some getting used to but I'm sure you'll be comfortable with it in no time!"

"Yeah..."Murmured Erin dazedly as she ran a hand over her stomach,feeling the tight buns of muscle that formed her abs with amazement."Wait..."she suddenly said with a hint of alarm in her voice as a horrible realization crept over her."How am I going to explain this!?What's mum going to say when she sees me like this!?How am I going to tell the teachers that it's me!?I look completely different!!"

"Calm down Erin!It's going to be fine!Piped Banini."You can change back to your former self if you wish...well actually you'll change back even if you don't."

"What do you mean?"Asked Erin as she felt a surge of relief wash over her.

"I mean that you'll only be in this form for a little while.After that you should change back to your former self,clothes and all!"Asserted Banini confidently.

"Really?"Erin looked down at the floor,only just now remembering her torn clothes but to her surprise they'd vanished completely as though they'd never been there."Hey they're gone!"

"They'll come back."Reassured Banini."Now listen closely Erin.Because what I'm about to tell you is very important!As you can see you're no longer Erin Wilson,you've been transformed into the ultimate you.A version of yourself blessed with incredible power!You are now...Bananawoman!"

"B-Banana...Woman!?"Exclaimed Erin with a hint of laughter in her voice."You're joking right?"

"I'm not joking!"Said Banini a little huffily."You ate a banana to trigger receive your powers right?Your costume looks banana-themed right?And you have a "B" right on your belt there.What else could you be called but Bananawoman?"

Erin glanced at her reflection again.There was quite the number of descriptive titles that certainly could apply to her right now but Banini did have a point.And the more she thought about it the more...right it seemed.Like it was natural she should be so named."Bananawoman..."she whispered softly.

"Yes.Now no more interrupting!This is important!"Banini insisted.Erin nodded in understanding."Now..."Continued Banini."It isn't just your appearance that's changed Erin!As I said before,you'll have amazing powers now,powers that must be used for the cause of good!You now have the strength of twenty women.Twenty BIG Women!"

"Well I certainly feel like it!"Said Erin enthusiastically as she flexed her arms again playfully."I feel like I could wrestle King Kong with these!

Banini grinned at Erin's jubulation."And...You'll be nearly invulnerable to harm!Bullets,bombs.They won't leave a scratch on your invincible bod!"

"Really?"Said Erin in awe."You mean I'm completely invincible!?"

"Well..."said Banini as she rubbed the back of her "head" with her wing."I said nearly...It's a little complicated you see.You can't be seriously harmed while in this form technically.You might feel a bit of discomfort or slight pain if you're hit with something REALLY,REALLY hard but other than that you can't be really hurt or injured.You won't take any kind of proper physical damage but if you are attacked with something really powerful then it might overcome your magical protection and "short-circuit" the transformation in a manner of speaking which will cause you to change back and you CAN be harmed still as your ordinary self."

"So...how will I know what "REALLY,REALLY hard" is?That's a little vague."said Erin.

"You'll know.You should be able to sense your own power.Like right now you should feel like you're brimming with energy right?Like you could benchpress a bus for a whole day?"

Erin nodded.That was a good way to summerize it.She still felt like her body was throbbing with power.

"Well you'll be able to feel when that power is being depleted or is in danger of shutting off.You'll just know.But as I said you're pretty much invulnerable to everything else.Stuff that would kill a normal person times over will probably just tickle to you so you've got nothing to worry about."

Erin felt a little more reassured but she was still a little wary on the whole "invulnerable" thing.

"You'll also be super-fast too!"Chirped Banini."Not just in how you move but you'll be able to think and perceive things faster as well!"

"Wow!Now that sounds like it'll be handy!"Exclaimed Erin."How fast are we talking about here?"

"Umm...I'm not exactly sure..."Said Banini with a hint of embarrassment."You might just need to get a feel for it."

"Oh...Well I guess that should be too hard to find out."Said Erin a little put down."Anything else?"

"Oh!"piped Banini."Yes how could I forget,you can fly as well!"

"I can fly!!?"Shouted Erin in amazement."You mean like properly fly through the air like...superman or something!?"

"Not like Superman or something!"Said Banini with a smirk."Like a Bananawoman!

"But you mean it though?"Inquired Erin fervently."I can really,really fly?"

"Yes silly!"Giggled Banini."You really can!Give it a try!"

Erin paused a moment uncertainly."Ummm..how?"

"Just push with your power"Said Banini as though it was the most natural thing in the world."You just do it."

"Just push with my power..."Murmured Erin slowly.Just how did one do that she wondered.But she decided against trying to question Banini further and instead tried to heed her advice.Everything else so far seemed to check out and she had a strange feeling that if she just put her doubts aside and tried,she'd be able to do it.She hesitated and then "Pushed" with the power inside of her.Almost immediately she felt her body rise of the ground,her feet leaving the floor beneath her as her head bumped against the ceiling.

"Oh!Oh!!I'm doing it!!I'm doing it!!"She cried as she awkwardly flailed with her arms.For some reason she wasn't moving out of control or losing balance even though it felt like she should.

"Not in here silly!"Shouted Banini."You'll go through the roof if you're not careful!"

Erin ceased pushing and her body instantly drifted back down to the floor."Wow!It really was as easy as you said!"She said breathlessly."That was fantastic!"

Banini smiled again at Erin's contagious excitement."You didn't do badly for your first attempt but you'll be able to get some practice in a minute when we head out to put a stop to the person behind this wacky weather!

"Person?You mean someone's causing all that outside?How is that even possible?"asked Erin in disbelief.

"Well you just flew right now and isn't that supposed to be impossible?"Asked Banini cheekily."Just trust me okay?My mistress has used her magic to discover the cause of this awful weather.It's a madwoman named Gladys Gloom who has built some kind of device that is doing all of this!You have to stop her!"

For a moment Erin hesitated.Just who did Banini think she was?Granted she'd had the mother of all makeovers as well as an instant crash course in bodybuilding it seemed,but she was still the same Erin beneath it all.And she was supposed to fly off(fly!) to God knows where to stop a literal mad scientist?It was crazy!But at the same time Erin knew something else deep down inside,she had power now...power to do so much good if she chose to do so.And if she didn't do something,right here,right now,who would?There was no guarantee that this weather wasn't going to worsen or that someone might be hurt if it continued.She had the power to do something and she knew where the one responsible was.She had to act.

"You're right..."Erin said softly before her voice became firm with heroic resolve."I have to do this.This is a job for....Bananawoman!"

She admittedly felt a bit of a surge of geekish joy at the declaration but it felt fitting somehow.She sprang towards the bathroom door and flung it open as she stepped into the hallway.Banini quickly followed her and darted ahead towards the nearest exit."Right on Bananawoman!Now follow me!I'll lead the way!"She piped as she shot down the hall.Erin was fast on her heels,dashing by several classrooms in the process.It was a bit of a miracle that nobody noticed her but she somehow made her way to the doors without being spotted.She stared outside at the rain now beating down in a raging downpour.If she wasn't every bit as strong and invulnerable as Banini claimed she was this was going to be unpleasant.Banini floated though the doors and hovered outside for her.Erin guessed that she was somehow able to pass through things via magic and that was why the weather didn't seem to be bothering her either.Erin opened the doors and followed her and was greeted by the rain outside beating down on her and the wind blowing her cape and hair out behind her.It didn't feel as bad as she'd imagined it would as the wind seemed unable to budge her and the rain was just an annoyance.Erin found herself grateful for the costume however as it seemed to be waterproof.Banini rose into the air and called out to her but the wind drowned out her tiny voice.Nethertheless,Erin deduced what she might have said and moved to follow her.Once again she "pushed" with her power and rose into the air,this time however she angled herself properly and posed in a superheroic fashion,thusting one fist up above her while holding the other to her side and angling her legs.She also used more force this time with there being no roof to worry about and she was surprised by the speed at which she whipped into the air.Within seconds the school below was dwindling beneath her as she rose higher and higher.She propelled herself faster upwards as she headed for the clouds.Banini was impressively able to keep pace with her.Depsite the rain and wind beating down on them they were able to hit the clouds above and break through.Erin found herself almost dazzled as she felt clear sunlight hit her drenched face.

""Phew!That's much better!" She said as she shook her hair,a little annoyed that her new golden tresses had been soaked.Banini chimed in agreeing with her."Yeah!Now that we're above the clouds,all you need to do is follow me this way and I'll lead you right to Gloom's hideout!"Erin nodded eagerly."Lead on then little chum!"She said as she propelled herself after her companion.

A few minutes later in the lair of Dr Gloom...

It had been almost an hour since she'd made her declaration and laid down the terms of her ransom.Almost an hour since she'd released the fury of her weather machine against the hapless town of Bellington.Right now the town was surrounded in a small hurricane of ever-increasing force.She'd started the machine off slow at first but as the hour had worn on Gladys had gradually increased the machine's power until now where it was sitting at almost 45% of it's Maximum potency.By now the people of Bellington would probably be praying for a miracle as the rain reached flooding levels and the wind clocked at speeds of over 90mph.The British government however were still being slow to take her seriously.Perhaps it was time to raise the power all the way up to 60% and show them what she could really do...

At that moment however, there was a loud "CRASH!!" from above.Gladys jumped in shock and stared upwards at the roof of the room.What on earth had that been?It sounded like a car had just dropped through the roof of the building she currently used as her laboratory.There was promptly a second crash as the roof of the room suddenly caved in from above.Gladys shrieked in terror as she shielded herself with her arms from the falling debris.But when she looked up to see what had burst through the roof she was flabbergasted to see a tall, musclebound blonde-haired woman in a bizarre blue and yellow costume dusting herself off.Amazingly the woman wasn't even harmed,she looked as though she might as well have stepped through an open door rather than ploughing through a roof.The woman glanced casually around her as she seemed to address someone who Gladys couldn't see."Wow!You weren't joking about the strength of twenty women thing were you!Those floors felt like they were made of polystyrene rather than steel!And it certainly seems like we're in the right place.This room virtually screams mad scientist...Oh hello there!"The woman finally seemed to notice Gladys."You must be Gladys Gloom right?"

"Wh-who are you!?"Spluttered Gladys in shock."Ho-how did you g-g-get in here!?"

"Through the roof obviously!"The woman said a little condescendingly."I thought a mad scientist would be a bit more observant.As for who I am...I.Am Bananawoman!"

"B-Bananawoman?"Stammered Gladys in confusion.Certainly the woman's costume seemed to give off a banana-like theme but why on earth would she give herself such a ridiculous moniker?

"Yes Bananawoman."Said the heroine irritably as she placed her hands on her hips."Now look Miss Gloom.I'm going to give you one chance to turn off your weather machine now and surrender before I have to get rough.Will you come quietly or not?

Gladys shook herself out of her stupified reverie.Of course she wasn't just going to surrender in her moment of triumph!And certainly not to some big-breasted blue and yellow suited bimbo!However she'd pulled that stunt with the ceiling,Gladys wasn't about to let herself be cowed by some costumed clown.She quickly grabbed another one of her devices and leveled it at the heroine."Of course I won't come quietly you caped cretin!You think you can scare me with your palor tricks!?I am DOCTOR Gladys Gloom!Genius extraordinaire!Now how about I demonstrate another one of my amazing inventions,The positronic disintegrator!Prepare to have your atoms scattered across all creation Banana-Bimbo!"

Gladys pulled the trigger releasing a beam of ultra-charged particles that rocketed at the heroine who didn't even try to move out of the way.To Gladys's shock however the beam struck Bananawoman dead on the chest but instead of tearing a hole through her body it seemed to just fizzle out.Bananawoman looked down at where it had hit her and giggled."Was that supposed to hurt or tickle?Because it certainly felt like the latter to me!"

"Impossible!"hissed Gladys in terror."You-You should be dead!"

"Well I'm not DOCTOR Gloom."Said Bananawoman cheekily."Now since you can't seem to play nice with your toys I'm afraid I'm going to have to take them off you."Bananawoman suddenly became a blue and yellow blur,crossing the space between them in an instant.Before Gladys could react,Bananawoman had snatched the positronic disintegrator from her hand and simply pressed her hands around it.There was a muffled sound of crushing metal and a small explosion before Bananawoman opened her hands and allowed a small wisp of smoke to waft out."I really was expecting more of a punch from that with the fancy name.Oh well!Now onto the next toy!"To Gladys's horror Bananawoman sprang towards her weather machine."Noooo!Don't destroy my precious machine!!I'll-I'll cut you a deal!!Spare my device and I'll cut you in on the ransom!"Bananawoman scowled in annoyance."I can't be bought Gloom.People like you who act out of love for money or fame make me sick.With your brilliance, you could have done some real good but instead, you stooped to petty thuggery and blackmail.Well your evil ambitions end here!"With a mighty blow,Bananawoman leveled the machine,reducing the devilish device to sizzling scrap with a single punch and Gloom's ambitions with it.

"NNNNNNNNNNNNOOOOOOOOOOO!!"Howled Gloom as she slumped to the floor in utter defeat.Bananawoman lowered her outstretched fist and gazed at the villain with a look of mixed contempt and pity before grabbing her roughly by the back of the oversized labcoat."You're coming with me to prison Gloom.Hopefully some time behind bars will make you realize that intelligence like yours should be used for good instead of evil.Now let's go."With a mighty bound,Bananawoman leapt up through the opening in the ceiling she had made upon her arrival with her captive in tow.

A short while later...

Detective Barbara O'Reily had never seen anything like it in all her years on the force.One minute the skies were black with rain and wind that were almost threatening to tear down Bellington Police station and the next the torrential rain had completely ceased,the ominous clouds had parted and the hurricane winds had settled into a gentle breeze.It was almost like someone had turned off a switch in the clouds.But that wasn't the end to the weirdness as just when she and her colleagues had stepped outside to take a look,the most amazing thing had happened,something that made the wild weather seem normal by comparison.A costumed woman had descended from the clearing skies bearing a small sniviling woman under a muscular arm.She politely explained to the agast officers that this woman was the one responsible for the bizarre phenomenon and to lock her up immediately before excusing herself and simply flying away.Just as she and her fellow officers had been deliberating what to do with the other woman,word had come in that this "Doctor Gloom" was indeed responsible for the weather and that she was to be apprehended as soon as possible.Needless to say the fiend had been behind bars before you could say "bob's your uncle" but the mystery of the Flying Woman was the talk of the town,who was she?Where did she come from and would they see her again?These were questions that Barbara found herself asking herself over and over again.Little did she know that she'd learn the answer to these questions soon enough...

In the skies above Bellington Hight School.

"I can't believe we actually did it!"Exclaimed Bananawoman jubilantly as she came to a halt just above the school."I mean we actually stopped a supervillain!!Or well a mad scientist anyway.But even so that was amazing!!"

"Don't you mean YOU did it Erin?"Piped Banini."After all you were the one who smashed her machine and took her to prison."

"Yeah but you showed me where it was and helped me with my powers and everything..."Protested Bananawoman"It was a team effort.I wouldn't have been able to do any of it without you Banini!"

"Awww shucks!"Squealed Banini in embarrassment."Thanks Bananawoman!You really are as humble as my mistress said you were."

Erin grinned."I still need to thank her for these amazing powers!"

"There's no need."Said Banini."These powers were a reward and merely by using them for the right cause is all the thanks my mistress needs!Besides I'd say you've already more than earned them!"

This time it was Erin's turn to blush beneath her mask."Thank you Banini...That means a lot to me.Well I guess if this role is mine then I'll play it to the fullest.Look out world,here comes Bananawoman!"
