Disturbance in the eyes and the mind.
An artistic balance -
A harmony of two,
or unbelonging? I'm different -

I cannot help the way this body formed.
Like those foreign words which sound masculine,
but aren't.
Gendered noun confusion -
The problem is male.

More fences than you could imagine,
but not a blade of green.
Which gate? Which door do I choose?
I run from those pointed skirts,
a triangle dividing lives.
But I dream of diving into that world
of pink, of curves and soft skin.
I hate the hard lines that make me,
so desired on others.
A promise made, and it will be kept.
I'll change the problem to a singing note

and save myself for the day.
