Awww your color choice is so pretty, and his expression fits him perfectly! I like a lot the way you use these pattern in your pics. And the sparkles, you really portray the character like he is but at the same time having a very distinct own style.
I don't know how to exactly feel about their death. I wish they survived but then Amon wouldn't have let him blow them up. It makes kinda sense for them to not run away like their father did and it also avoids them suddenly becoming nice guys and apologizing for their wrongdoings but meh.
I mean they ended up killing the best characters of the shows.
I do respect him though for having the balls to do such a selfless act, I mean different than other peoples they didn't have any friends or families left that would care about them, so I don't see it as selfish.(I guess their parents are already dead of age or so)
The whole situation is weird and awkward, they haven't seen each other for so long and neither of them is the one they were back then anymore, so while being brothers they are still kinda complete strangers.

Even I have my doubts about the quick death of Amon, I did not want this will stay as the eternal villain. I guess his death left more ideas to exploit the plot of book two.

ah, i dont thin it was just "suicide", i think it was mroe about putting an end to amon, or really, most importantly, freezing the time with noahtok. he'd already believed his brother to be dead, and to find him again after so long must have been both the happiest and most upsetting moment of his life. he blew up the ship to stop noahtok from doing something wrong again, the fact that he was on it was more like penance. i think that proves his stubbornness and self confidence most of all.
