Yeah, I racked my brains out trying to figure it out realistically. Considering that in a medieval sort of setting a bastard son for a man means a stain on his honor at most, while a woman who cheats on her husband gets to experience a quite more gruesome fate – and how to fit it in a quite happy Cousland family format…

Oh well, I imagine that on his way of becoming a total villain in DA, Rendon Howe was gradually pushing moral boundaries …and seducing teyrna Eleanor was just one of them. Elen never confessed this to her husband and Bryce may have been suspecting that his younger heir is not really his (but not who the father may be), but out of love for his wife he never brought it up. Harvey, the unfortunate fruit of the affair was always treated kindly by Bryce, though with a bit of hesitance that did not go unnoticed by the boy. And not to mention with a lot of living up to expectations shit. Which Harvey didn’t most of the time.

If Rendon knew Harvey was his son I’m guessing he did not really care. He did not care about his legitimate children enough not to go batshit crazy and screw the whole Howe family over.

Well, I guess Eleanor being beheaded or Harvey being sent to the Howe family is still more probable...but I guess stranger things had happened. Never underestimate a man's love for a woman.

(Haha, for the life of me I can’t draw Rendon. He looks like a hammer just smashed his face or something XD)
