Description The second very quick concept drawing of the “Shadow Deer”. When they move they kind of wisp away in the wind, and the "solid" parts of their physiology can be seen. Their wispiness is what makes the Shadow Deer so hard to kill... but killed, they can be.

you say it's a quick concept drawing, but sometimes those come out the best! You only have enough time to put in the really important strokes and the over all effect is so powerful! Nice blue/red combination

Night mare stages, on the order of the horse and hound of hell, to some degree. I do like the description of wisping away. The illustration of it, is well and nicely done.

Thank you. JB and I are hopeing to be able to work on it more once I get out of college for the summer, but for right now it is moving kind of slow.

It has a little bit more "lightness" to it. But not much lighter on the shadow deer itself.
