Description
They are made of pure Dark...Blood red eyes peer out of their haunting bodies. They have a form much like that of a massive stag, when still... but when they move, they shift and melt like shadows... the smoke of nightmares.They are the unfinished creations of the Great Creator. They have been locked away within the Earth for millennia... but now they are out... and are thirsting for the Light......
This is a Shadow Deer, and it is part of a project that JB and I are slowly working on. This is just a teaser for ya'll.

i dont know what it is but this piece just looks black to me.. o.o i had to put it straight into photoshop and brighten it up to even see it... and when i did it looks great!

Hummm, your monitor must be very dark then. It is a rather dark image to begin with, but everything should still be clear.
I took a gander at your gallery and noticed that almost all of your pieces have no true blacks to them, and the colors are overly bright. So you do need to adjust your brightness up.

aparently my monitor is inproperly calibrated so im getting that sorted out asap its messing with things im having to print out too.. :/ its not an old monitor either.. i do use true blacks, but obviously its looking different on other peoples screens. My monitors on full brightness so its obvious things need tweaking...

The description makes them seem absolutely amazing! I can't wait for the actual pictures if this is just a teaser!
The whole idea of unfinished creatures just makes them have a really cool story.
And I love the picture, although would recommend maybe making the eye a brighter red, I'm not sure though :/ He has such good anatomy and those antlers are magnificent!

I already brightened up the red a bit on him... but the jpeg just destroyed it all. On the larger version there are a lot more eyes looking out of his body as well, but most have been destroyed by the jpeg.

ooo that is hot!!! and EXCITING! i want to know the story! it sort of reminds me of these things i made up last year called Night Stalkers. i mean mine aren't made out of shadow or anything....nor do they look like deer XD BUT it reminds me of them someway and it makes me excited to know the story lol. it makes sense in my head lol.
