This is what happens when observation in the costume department is rather lacking.Toph is one of THE best characters!! I love her little crush on Sokka.
Toph: "Oh Sokka!! You saved me!!" *kiss on cheek*
Suki: "Actually... it's me."
Toph: "Oh... You can just let me drown now."

Heh heh... Tokka is the cutest thing on Avatar. That and a younger Toph in "The Firebending Masters" (season 3, in a flashback).
I too laughed for days, and I do right now, when I saw Toph's "moment" in "The Serpent's Pass"... awkward, especially when you're kissing, of all people, the girl he likes. Stupid Suki, the Tokka killer, that and the age difference. Why couldn't Toph be 14, like Katara?
Aaanyway, Nice pic. Pretty much sums up their relationship(except for the sibling-like bond, shown later in "The Runaway", season 3). See "Sokka's Master"(again, Book 3) for yet another moment. Watch the whole thing to fully get it, especially what Toph says.

I like the idea of Tokka, but I'm still glad how things ended up. Suki seems more suited for Sokka.

Eh, I guess I'll just have to accept it, but their relationship won't nearly be as funny. Who's gonna call Sokka funny nicknames? Suki's got no skills: "Lord of the Guys Who Don't Win?" That was sad. Remember Toph's line to Suki in the finale? "Leave the nicknames to us[Toph and Sokka], honey."
What can I say? I'm a Toph aficionado. She's kind of my fan-crush... she's twelve, so it's not a real one.

Yeah. Her blindness is why she's a special character. She can feel vibrations in the earth telling her where everything is. So essentially she can 'see' with her feet.
