A scene in a college library. It is actually loosely based on a real campus built in the 1970s, Gardyne College in Dundee (built as a teacher training college) before it was taken over by Dundee College and extensively refurbished a few years ago. When I was 7 or 8 years old my dad used to take me for swimming lessons at the swimming pool there because policemen and staff were given discounts. When I was 16 my high school senior 'buddy' training day was held at this campus as well, and as such I got to see more of the interior.

The only original part of the campus that was retained was the P.E. block and swimming pool. Everywhere else was stripped out (including removal of the top floor) and rebuilt. It looks much nicer now, though it is sad when some cool architecture is gone.

The library section of Gardyne with it's slanting greenhouse style windows and coffered ceiling was finished in 1976. The ceiling in the picture I drew isn't based on what was in that library, instead it was based on what was in my High School's library instead. I have also including traits such as the bare brickwork (another 1970s architectural trait) and timber decor in places.
