Description More darkroom experimenting. Has to be in B&W - don't have the chemicals or knowledge or skills to do it in colour

Normal exposure of the negative, with bubbles ontop of the paper, serving as the photogram.
It gets tricky balancing this - the contrast and exposure that is best for the bubbles is not necessarily that for the negative!
Also, if the exposure is too long, the bubbles pop and move, causing a blurring, or out of focus look.

Darkroom:
Exposure: 20 secs
Aperture: f 4.5
Filter: 2

This is absolutely amazing. Bubbles, huh? Such a interesting idea, and the result is mindblowing!

glad you like it!
the bubbles were much harder to control than it may seem but I think it was worth it

Would you mind if I tried it? I've been looking for an inspiration to go back to the darkroom (haven't set foot in it in almost a year) and this is really giving me ideas! But it's your idea, so you tell me

no, i don't really mind, you'd probably come up with something very different, and I almost definitely wasn't the first to do it anyway and anyway, it would be nice to think that i'd inspired someone to do more darkroom work! I miss it :/
Make sure you show me what you come up with!
i got ideas from a few artists if you were interested for some links?

I should have looke before (me culpa). But this one is really excellent as well. Never blame you for the b&w. Tried dark room technique with colour prints a long time ago. The basic draw back then, was that it was extremely costly. Ans it took such a long time to see the result and evetually modify them.
