Honey Lemon works with chemistry at San Fransokyo Institute of Technology as she creates new inventions for the world to see, like chemical metal embrittlement. She later uses her talent to make Chem-balls; so she could keep San Fransokyo safe and help her friends unmake Yokai.

When Honey learned what Tadashi Hamada's brother, Hiro was up to she offers to help. Hiro not only makes her a super-suit, but also a purse that can make her little chemical Chem-balls that can concoctions include hardening foam to halt movement, cushioning foam to break falls, ice to freeze enemies and smokescreens for camouflage. Honey Lemon keeps the team smiling no matter how tuff or hard the battles are.
