Everybody likes Zerglings! There are Zergling designs out there that I like a lot better than this one, but for this drawing I tried mostly to stay true to StarCraft's in-game sprite (complete with webbed feet!) The hardest part was coming up with a decent running pose that didn't look too stiff. Line-art for the foreground Zergling was done in pencil, everything else is digital.Related content

Nice work! Only criticism I'd like to say is that the arms that hang over the body (the ones with claws) should be jointed, right? Right now they look a little flimsy and not so strong.

OHGODYES. The original design is the one I liked the most, yet I could never piece it completely together what with pixel sprites and the like.

This has to be the first time that I saw an artwork depicting the Zergling, in-game. Looks extremely accurate!
