In all honesty, I don't really know.
Call me old fashioned, but I can really relate to Spike, as I've grown up around very stable (haha), understanding, generous, strong, quirky, outgoing, and otherwise kindly older female role models in my life, moreso than males anyway, and in turn, I guess those are the kind of women I grew to appreciate most. Β I guess we kinda share the same kinda discipline, respect, and politeness, to be blunt. We've both been raised little gentlemenΒ . Plus, I'm kinda awkward and clumsy, like him, and I love to be of assistance when I get the chance. And I like to believe I've got a big smart-alecey child at heart.
I can't honestly say I have a TwiSpike kind of romantic relationship with anyone IRL (hell, like I could even land a romantic relationship period), but I guess I've always been kind of a sucker for the "so close but so far", "playful (possibly long-time) friendship growing into (awkward?) intimacy" relationship, that's just so sweet to me, it makes my heart sing~! They're just adorable.

This is actually the lamest, most stupid and most pathetic excuse to not date someone. A romantic relationship (if both partners are mature and are conscious of what being in a relationship means) always strengthens the bond between people.

Frist, I do not like Spilight, i'm sorry, but that doesn't mean that the colors blend well and that the shading looks well. I don't like Spilight, I hate it, but your artstylee is well, I hope you respect my opinion.

Truth is, while TwiSpike is my personal fav, I can enjoy most any Spike ship.

Words cannot express how overjoyed I am to witness yet another masterpiece from you Frist! You certainly do terrific job and I'm enjoying it even more since Spilight/Twispike is my most favorite pairing... just too cute!
I especially like how you made Twilight mane have this very realistic shine to it like a hair should have while at the same time you kept Spike's scales and spikes glistening in the sun! The blush on their respective cheeks is also very delicate and natural, not being out of place at all but what I absolutely adore about this picture are their eyes.
Somehow, you managed to capture feelings in them, of deep love, caring and promise of happiness which makes me smile even more when I especially focus on those emerald and amethyst orbs of theirs.
So once again...big wow!
