Description
Sunset near the ex-O&A alignment near Popes Head, about a mile east of the Union Mills site. All quiet now that the P58 and P337 have passed through the area...The old alignment briefly re-joins the current roadbed about 200 feet in front of the camera before veering southward again to form yet another s-curve - the O&A was full of such curves before Southern completed its 1903 realignment/double-tracking project.
