I was so inspired by SimbaGirl that I just had to do this... New shading techniques were used as well as new things with the background.As always, strong critique is encouraged.

woah very good i love the coloring to this guy; but since you said critique is encouraged; i would have to say, is his muzzle crooked? his eyes are seeming to look one way and his nose is curved this way to the side as if to be facing you......idk.. just ignore what i said XD its amazing as well as your other work. Beautiful work, I can only see a slight resamblance, but I'm guessing that this is your story/adaptation of LotR. Love his eyes, they are highly detailed and make me feel like I'm going to fall into them.
