'Nother painty-style speedpaint~This time featuring Lach and Scarlett.
Been wanting to do a picture like this ever scince *Kwizkaii showed me this song [link]
So yeah, that's where the title comes from.
Also, this shows how absolutely massive Lach is. Scarlett is dwarfed by him, and please take into account that Scarlett is a good-sized dog.
And no, Lach is not high. I can't draw open/mouthed expressions for the life of me DX Dunno why his eyes look all goofed up. The lighting is weird too.
Anywhoo, (c) me and all that. This'll be the last art for a while, as I leave tomorrow (well later this morning technically, it's 2 am XDD)

So... I guess I'll start on the improvement-stuff first. The anatomy was the first thing that caught my eye. I was a bit surprised as you usually do such a good job with it. It's still good, but a little unbalanced. For example, Scarlett just looks a little stiff in general. Especially her head, back, tail, and front legs especially. They look a little too awkward and close to her head. Lach is a bit better, though his back [the part that starts low and slopes up] is positioned a bit too low, I think. And his back legs are a little too close..? I'm not going to go into detail into this, because you caught it, but their facial expressions look a little awkward. I don't think there are any more problems, except maybe the tree looks a bit hurried. But that could just be for stylistic purposes, I guess XD
The good-
As usual.. your shading is superb. Love the angle that the light comes from and the perspective in general. See your "messy" style making an even bigger comeback- which looks great with your style of lineart and shading. The newer, sort of detailed fur shading on Lach looks fantastic, maybe you should refine it a little, like make the edges of the lines a bit sharper, if possible. And again, as usual, your color scheme is awesome 
I think that's all..? Anyways, for an overall score I'd give this an 8/10!
