This is kicks! I made her a few months back in February after being reminded of an old concept for an Echidna fc I never got around to designing because I wasn't at the skill level were I could draw mobians satisfyingly.
She's a part of the Kneecaps echidna tribe (Yes I'm calling it that unironically) which unlike the knuckles clan is doing pretty well for themselves! (AKA they still exist and have a population of people LOL) also unlike the knuckles clan they use their legs as their primary way of fighting (I.E Taekwondo or Kickboxing).

Diving into a little bit of headcanon-y stuff I personally believe that there are multiple echidna tribes that reside either in or around angel island and all are based on different ways of fighting/different body parts you can use to fight hence the somewhat unoriginal names of "Knuckles clan" or "Kneecaps clan" (Is this hc a thing bc I don't want/don't believe that knux is the last echidna on the planet but rather the last of his specific tribe? Yes.) .

Kicks herself is around the same age as Knuckles (16) they have a lot more in common then I really intended them too? Both enjoy specific fruits, Both are chao guardians in a way, both enjoy treasure hunting ETC I suppose that's good though that was kinda my point in making kicks, since Sonic Chronicles, Nocturnus Clan and by extension Shade the echidna isn't canon (Thanks ken penders for that you rotten corpse ) and the echidna's whom are canonically a thing are dead knuckles really doesn't have someone of his species to hang with in canon (At least if we're looking at game canon specifically) so I figured he might like another echidna to talk to and relate to.
