*death rattle* THREE WEEKS! Three weeks without drawing ANYTHING! I don't think I've ever been so thankful for a vacation before. Good grief.Anyway, I'm about to pass out, so I guess I'll keep this short. Which should be easy since I don't have much to say -- the inspiration for this was basically just seeing the leaves turn color. Other than that, I really have no friggin idea what I was trying to do. In any case, I think I'll be perpetually amused with the fact that I gave Ulquiorra like... a bow. Hurg.

That always burn so bad afterward, since you just end up kicking yourself for not remembering or for not making a note to remind yourself.
One nice thing that can happen, though, is that trying so hard to remember can spark all sorts of inspiration for other things.

My notes are usually written on random pieces of paper stuck in my sketchbook
But what I really need to start doing more often is writing down my dreams so they will become stronger and more vivid.

Oooh, you're trying to have stronger dreams? I don't know if it's something you're interested in, but I read some stuff about lucid dreaming a while back. One of the exercises they had was to say "This is a dream" like thirty times before going to bed. While I never got to the point where I had lucid dreams, I got to the point where I remembered at least one dream every morning when I woke up. Maybe that would be helpful for you?

Well, in my mind, winter is more of the "december through february" time, especially january-early february. I'm excited for Christmastime, which I regard as a separate season unto itself. XD I do not have to drive to school then, so snow and ice do not bother me. But when it takes an hour to drive to school... yeah, that part of winter is not so fun.

Haha, yeah. I used to live in Arizona, so I was all excited when my family moved and we had a real winter. And theeeeen I started having to drive to school in the snow, and it wasn't nearly as awesome. XD

I am indeed on vacation, but so far it hasn't been nearly as vacation-y as I would have liked. u___u I utterly bombed my last organic chemistry test (nice little 57%....), so I'm not trying to go over all four chapters that were on the test and really learn everything. Pretty much sucks, since I was hoping to like... relax. For once. *laughs*
And I did not forget about the Katara picture -- I put the lineart on my desktop on Saturday to help me remember. So it is definitely something that I'm hoping to get done for you... we'll just have to see how things goes. I didn't realize that Thanksgiving was so late this year, though, so I only have like 2 1/2 weeks of school left before my month long Christmas break. I KNOOOOW I will get it done by then, if my homework ends up killing me this week...

I most certainly agree that vacation is supposed to be for relaxing, but it often seems to be an excuse for profs to just pile on more work since they think we'll have more time. And as far as overwhelming me, that happened months ago. Like... probably the first week of school. XD
I got the base colors down for the picture, but since I really want the pattern on the kimono to be nice, I haven't gotten any more done.
