Yup yup, time for more of this. Probably the only thing slowing me down at the moment is schoolwork... which I've been putting off all day... T___THmm I really don't know what to say. It seems pretty straightforward to me. I'm pleased with the fact that I managed to use warm colors, though. I wasn't sure if I could get it to work in a way I'd be satisfied with.

This is a very intense picture. It could go into my "love" collection, but... his eyes.^^Β° He is so "oh my, not again" looking, that does not fit for that. But it is his character, no?^^ That picture is really beautiful! I have nothing to say.^^

I'm glad you like this picture... I think it might be my favorite of the ones I have done of them. It makes me especially happy that you find it intense, without knowing the background... I was hoping to get that feeling across almost symbolically, but it's nice that just the picture itself conveys that, too. ^^
Hehehe, that is his character... his expression hardly ever changes, and even when it does it is subtle. By this point, I think it would make something in my brain melt to try to draw him with a different expression.
And what I think is interesting is that is likely that most of the feelings (regardless of what kind) that exist between them in the manga are on his side... he seems much more fascinated with her than she is with him. *laughs*

It is always interesting that he looks so sad, but then the things he says are usually so apathetic. To have an appearance that seems to be just vivid emotions but then for him to act in an emotionless way... it's a strange paradox.
Hehe, I don't know if he is obsessed with her (although I'd approve if he was >D). He thought to himself that she was a strong woman, and he seems very interested in her... he has clearly made attempts to understand her and her thoughts. Since he has a pretty condescending view of everybody, it seems strange that he would consider her (a mere human) in such a positive way.

Maybe they become good friends. There is no need for a love relationship just because he is male and she is female. He has no heart after all, that makes it even easier.

Oh yes, I would deeeefinitely be happy with friends. Heck, I'd be happy with them just having an understanding and acceptance of each other. Sadly, I don't even expect that to happen... 
Perhaps part of the reason I like the idea of romance between them so much is because there are quite a few parallels between them and Hades/Persephone, and I love that myth. ^__^ Also, Ulquiorra did ask Orihime what a heart is, and how can I not squee over any possibility of her trying to teach him? XD

Yes, it is true... some touch of romance seems to almost expected from movies these days. Such things only interest me if it actually is an important part of the plot, not just thrown in randomly. Oh, and when they have happy endings that do not fit! >_< That is very irritating, too.
It's probably hard to get all the facets of the Hades/Persephone myth... I've been looking for information about it for yeeears, and I still find out new things. XD But I'm glad you looked it up, so perhaps the comparison makes more sense.

Haha, I didn't know much about Bleach until I stumbled across fanart of these two. Then the rest was history.... even if it's only been like a month. That's still history. ... It counts.

Sadly, there really aren't any cannon pairings... it's pretty much straightforward shounen. There are ones you can assume, but it's never really brought up. Which is tho thad. Although it does make it easier to go after the crack ships. XD
