I do love making chibis, since there is a much broader range of expressions that can be made. Since that is one of my favorite reasons for making these comics, I am glad you appreciate them. ^^
Now that you have commented on so many of my comics, though, I do so want to make another. Unfortunate that my computer has decided to die now... although that would really be unfortunate at any time, I suppose. But still, the inspiration is always nice, and should get me through some lineart if nothing else!

Why is it that as soon as you mentioned wanting to make another comic, I instantly thought of a Petshop of Horrors fanart comic from you... and had to stop a profuse nosebleed. Oh my... That *would* have been something. Guess this means I have to help you get to know Petshop and the world's sexiest tranny, its owner, Count D...
Gah, computers. We'd hate them if we weren't attached on them with a proverbial umbilical cord. If it wasn't dead I'd help you kill it... I know what the stupid things are like...

Haha maybe inspiration is contagious? I certainly hope so; that would be convenient. XD I've noticed that such can occasionally be the case.
Anyway, yes, so it seems the computer issue might be solved...? I am not entirely sure, but it seems like the fan might have been clogged. I guess I will have to try going about my usual business regarding what programs I have open and see what happens. *rambling* But having no access to photoshop has kind of made me want to draw like crazy, so I have to color the bazillion things I have sitting in my sketch pad now... o___o

I love his little glowy eyes and how he completely fails to be anything but cute even in evil silhouette. Also? The expression on her face afterwards. *laaaaaaughs*
You need to write this....

Heey! It's less than a month, and here I am! Aren't I fantastic?
Well, if it was in person maybe it'd be scarier. But as it is I'm all "heeh! look at his silhouette!hair!"

Hahaha, yeah, aren't you just proud of your accomplishment? *snort*
..Yeah, it is mostly just the hair thing, isn't it? Bahahaha. Yeah, it's a bit hard to take that seriously. But that really is half the fun of it.

Oh, very proud. And look, it's less than a day later! Not that that has anything to do with, say, me not getting through the whole list of comments to reply to before you responded.....
So wait, remind me--is the body he's occupying her boyfriend?

Frotu In reply to Spoofmaster [2008-02-14 18:29:15 +0000 UTC]
Haha, if you think the commenting stuff is bad.... last week I had twenty, and I replied to all of them, and then ten minutes later I went back to reply to a note, and there were 15 more. -___- It was very 'BUSFDHUI! WHAT?" But kinda funny.
Well, originally it was going to be her boyfriend, but then I decided that it'd be funnier if he had just thought the guy was her boyfriend, and so was all "haha, you will help me now!" and she could be like "... I could really care less if you possess him." Because Rael is stupid.

Mmmm... no, it will let you know no matter how many you have, but they won't all show up on the thing... like right now mine says "showing 25 newest of 30".

Oh no, I don't think the owner would be annoyed if he cut of his head. He'd be dead, after all -- very hard to have emotional reactions by that point. *laughs*

They're some original characters of mine, which should explain why you don't know who they are! Heck, I'm not even completely sure who they are...
I'm very glad to hear that it made you giggle and that the expression turned out. When I was drawing it, I wasn't all that sure about what I was doing. XD
Thank you very much for the fav!

Haha, I should hope it will be funny... I think I must just be drawn to making fun of things that generally shouldn't be mocked. I believe it might be the irony of the situation that makes me heart it so. ^_^

WishIWould In reply to Frotu [2008-01-22 22:51:30 +0000 UTC]
Maybe it's something about fear of death, and being attracted to the idea that death would be something or someone as likable as Rael. The combination of irony and reassurance, and that personification that makes it less mysterious? It's a theme you see a bit, of death personified, and even humorous. It makes death feel less limitless, less all-encompassing, you know?

Haha, yeah, I'm sure it has something to do with that. I just don't enjoy taking things seriously... it too much work and not much fun. ^_^ You've definitely examined the root of the issue, though.
Although even as a general rule, I enjoy things that are not exaaaactly mainstream.

Oh indeed the mythological ones do have the better names. It's really interesting when you start looking and realize just how many are out there and also how different they can be.
(And unfortunately, I found that out on a whim, and I realize that the fact that it was just for kicks is mildly odd)

WishIWould In reply to Frotu [2008-01-24 07:22:28 +0000 UTC]
it's odd? Dang, there goes my perception of normalcy...says the girl who did such things as obsess over egypt at age 8 and memorize heiroglyphics...and who created a "Hogwarts at Home study course" when she was 11...and looks at babynames.com for fun names all the time for no reason...and...need I go on?

Frotu In reply to WishIWould [2008-01-24 07:31:20 +0000 UTC]
Haha, but I did those things tooo... well sorta. I was actually 6 when I obsessed over Egypt and memorized basic heiroglyphics. XD ... I wasn't able to go to recess most days, so I read oodles.
I heart babynames.com, although my favorite is Behind the Name. I like their selection, and their descriptions of what the names mean is bettah.
And I don't even want to go into the little things I created. I will mention one -- hot sauce babies. *solemn nod*

WishIWould In reply to Frotu [2008-01-24 07:34:52 +0000 UTC]
I think I was 6, too - I just chose a random age, but remembering which house I lived in at the time, I was 6.
Behind the Name? *intrigued* Link?
Hot sauce babies...that reminds me of the water baby I tied green felt to and buried, to be a "Mandrake" for herbology. I forgot it and left it there for months!

Haha, well, I guess we just clearly rock, huh? XD
[link] There is thaaaat... I do enjoy the fact that it has it broken up by countries, too. That is vereh helpful, depending on what sort of sounds you're looking for.
Hahaha! And what was it like when you finally remembered it?
Unfortunately, the hot sauce baby was not forgotten... I believe my 5th grade class was the only one not doing like the egg or sugar babies, and I was very ticked. So my friends and I stole hot sauce packets and buried them in a corner of the school yard, and proceeded to tend to them during recess. Unfortunately they were found and smushed all over the concrete. *heavy sigh* ... I do believe I still have the wrapper carcass. *laughs* I hoard.

It took so long for me to respond because I spent the next hour looking at that site (between homework).
That rocks!!!!
Oh, Lindsay was very, VERY mad. It was her personal favorite doll, a little thing named Sally. She had mourned its loss in silence, so I never knew she was so upset until we moved and I remembered to dig it up again before we left. O_o
Well, I never saved wrapper carcasses...but when I was 7 I made a doll out of mud and put behind a music box on a decorative shelf in my room. I kept THAT for a looooooooong time!I was determined it would live!
Then I found it and was like "oh, yeah!" And it cracked and crumbled into just plain dirt. Sad day.

*laughs* Well, I'm glad that you approve of the site. I hope that it's helpful, or at least provides more entertainment.
Aaaw! Haha, that's so sad! It's like a little childrens soap opera.
Haha, mud doll! I'm pretty sure I've made things of that nature, but I generally forget I have them and then find them later, resulting in much O_o. But that's generally fun, although it does sound very sad that it crumbled into plain dirt.
AH! I just remembered the thing that was sort of like that that I made. I made minitures of the camp sites my family visited with playdough, and then when we moved to Arizona they melted in the moving truck. It was tragic... it was like a self-made little doll house sorta thing.

Awwwww, that's so sad! It's like the one time I made a candle shaped like a turtle, but it was packed in a box with my mom's comb. So now the turtle's crookedly bent and has a line of comb-tooth grooves all along its face and body. Molded wax and crumbly dirt and melted dough...pure travesty!

Isn't it funny how things like that can pretty much just totally crush your soul? It always amuses me what things seem terribly sad at times... the brain, while an amazing and wonderful organ, is also wired pretty funkily.
Although a comb-tooth turtle DOES sound truly upsetting...
