Hm... I forgot how much titles suck. :/Anyway, kind of had this "BLAGHAJKFDSJK MUST DRAW SOMETHING!" moment whilst sitting in my Japanese Political Development class. Maybe the course title gives an idea of why my brain went a little crazy...
But since I saw chapter 61 of "Immortal Rain" yesterday, I was in a rather flaily mood and such. I absolutely love that series and am completely beyond baffled over why it doesn't have a larger fan base. Seriously. I'd probably count it within my top ten mysteries of the universe.
This was the first legit picture I made with my new tablet, and I was... incredibly happy with that experience. This picture is pretty simple and not that great, but considering that I did the lineart and everything on the computer makes it speshul to me.

I'm always happy to hear about more people who have read it! It seems like such people are few and far between... u___u. But I guess all we can do is try to get the word out the best we can, and art is a good vehicle for that, so I'm glad to hear that you'll try your hand at drawing them, too! Anywho, I am happy that you like the picture... now that the series is over, I feel like it might be time to try my hand at them again

Ah, are you able to read Japanese then? I bought all the volumes that have been released in Japan and have been trying to keep up with the digital copies of the chapters that had been released, but my Japanese reading skills are... really shoddy. >__> One can still appreciate the pictures, though!

I don't know if I've commented on this pic before, but basically, the title says it all: I love this wonderful beautful tender piece of art expressing the epicness that is Machika/Rain. X)
There arn't enought words in the world to express my love for these two. So cute. So touching. Plus I find it just plain hilarious and adorable how much bigger Rain is than Machika. LOL

Their relationship just makes me melt a little bit inside, so I felt really inspired when it came to this piece. ^__^

ughh in the last chapter.....dont continue if u havent read last chapter.... it says that rain isnt immortal anymore i secretly wished that maybe machika could turn immortal with him but its still a beautiful love story... i sorta feel bad for yuca though i know he's done a lot of terrible unforgivable monstrous things but he's been through hell you know?

It really is! It's just this tiny out of the way niche... how the heck did that happen??? It's especially frustrating when I'm in the darn country and see all sorts of things being turned into anime that I'm just like "....O___o...... -____-". It is a baffling reality.
*hug* I'm happy that it turned out decently... it's really weird to draw straight on the program for me, and I'm sure I'm really rusty after not drawing anything but doodles in comp books for three months... >___>

Except there hasn't been a new volume out in aaaaaages. T_T My aunt was the one who got me into that series, since she has like volumes 3-8 at her place. I've been encouraging my friends to get into it.

Yeah, they haven't translated anything in forever. Like... basically when I started reading it. Good timing on that one. The new chapters aren't even in the magazine anymore -- only online -- so I wonder if they are just not going to be translating it now. I kind of think that might be the case. I just hope the scanlation people pick up the slack.
