SOOOOOO I was looking at Lopoddity's page [which I totally don't do on the hour~] and I realized I don't have a batpony oc. NOT GOOD.
So I came up with this little mare who works at Canterlot's palace and is both Luna's Royal bookkeeper and babysitter for Prince Harvest Moon. She has always been on my mind as a character but was originally an Earth Pony

Siren was born in a land named Lyric to a widowed mother. Her birth name is Prospera but she changed it when she arrived in Equestria to fit in. Ever since she was a child, she read about the free lands of Equestria brought back by Stormchasers [merchants who travel by air]. Her people were always in fear of the world around them as her colony is very small compared to the other beasts who inhabit Lyric. Equestria had 4 Queens and a bevy of famous protectors, something that Lyric could only dream of. When Siren was old enough to fly long distances she [and her clingy little brother] flew to Equestria with a flock of her people.
When she arrived she worked hard to learn the language and became quite a well-known squire.
Her talents and pension for living by candle light caught Queen Luna's attention and she was offered a job.

Siren is a sweet mare that can be found trailing after Luna, writing down orders and to-do lists at breakneck speed [literally. She has to use her mouth since she isn't part of the "solohorn master race"]
She's a very meek mare who doesn't seem to have a fair bit of autonomy. Though she is technically in service to Luna most of the night she is often thrown into other jobs she is not entirely qualified for. That being a nanny for Prince Harv, a pincushion for Discord, a scapegoat for castle staff, a messenger/assistant and second brain for Queen Luna and a mare who is often called upon at all hours.
This may seem far too much for one meek mare but she is paid handsomely for her time.
She uses this money to provide for herself and her reclusive little brother Lysander.

She doesn't have much of a social life but most of her friends are royals and other maids, guards and butlers.
