Wow so it's been 1000 years since I've done proper Snow Angel Superstar art!I'm trying to get back on working on it (for real this time!!!) so here's a little starter piece of Azumi and Avalan <3 I'm trying to get used to both drawing them again, and also figuring out how I want to color illustrations digitally! (though I'll still do a lot of traditional too). Please look forward to more SASS! I'm hoping to do more works + new character profiles as soon as I can!

Miyuki/Avalan is going through biiiig big changes... mostly Miyuki herself! She's going to be a completely different character compared to her initial purpose, but is keeping all her glam and charm~

Oh so she won't be the rival singer/love interest anymore? Interesting, because I've never really heard you talk about that aspect of her much.
When would she have shown up originally anyway? I feel like you may've said around when Hanako or Yen were being introduced but I don't remember if you ever said or not so I don't want to assume.

She's still a singer! She's the lead of her own all-girl band (her side thing when she needs to get away from princess affairs). As for the love triangle thing, she's still a part of it but in a much friendlier way, rather than being mean to Azumi, she can be flirty/playful. Instead of being lovesick over Avalan she's just very protective of him bc she finds him ~delicate~ LOL! She likes him initially but loves him in a way where his happiness is most important

At first I was sad that she won't be callin' Azumi a manstealer (which we'd have to retcon the heck out of Crashing Star or remove it entirely) but then it's completely reversed to a mother hen mentality which is hilarious!
Miyuki: "You're *just* a celebrity! You know nothing of royalty so a princess like me is much better suited to him! *cling*"
