Hurray! Look what I saw!

Heh, I took thirty-odd pictures of the Northern Lights - this is the only one I really like. I forgot to take my tripod to Iceland with me, and my hands aren't steady enough to hold the camera still for twenty seconds. For this, I placed my camera on the top of a big metal box - so yay for sharp silhouettes!
I might put some of the others in scraps, 'cause the Lights themselves are beautiful. It's just the hopelessly blurred outlines of the mountains that ruin it.

Editing: made the streak of light brighter (since, for some reason, the Northern Lights appear really dark on my laptop), painted over a lit-up building in front of the mountain, blurred a tad to reduce noise. I never realised long exposures created that much noise. ;_;

Umm...what else to say? The Lights weren't this green to the naked eye. One of my friends was very annoyed that they were greener on camera than in actuality.
