It looks much better! A bit too saturated for my tastes but looks wonderful! Good job!

I'm surprised more people have not commented on this entry. This one, I am almost 100% sure will win. It's got the perfect balance of fantasy and historical knights aesthetic. I saw this, and I knew that this one would be it. The colors are great, I can't express how much I love the glittery cape and the armor.
My only criticism would be the way you brought this piece into the digital medium. There are a lot of rough edges around the silhouette of the drawing. And the colors of the character are textured in a way that you can tell it's scanned paper. There are ways to get around this, but I almost feel if it had been photographed, instead of scanned. And from a distance, the background is almost the same color as the figure, and from a distance they kind of blend together.
If you have an unedited version of the scanned drawing, I can show you what I mean.

Thank you so much! That's what I was going for! (Also, your entry is pretty amazing, too)
And yeah, I'm just starting to attempt blending digital and traditional art, so the few pieces I have are pretty rough-looking. It probably looks photographed because it was this time, heh. I usually use a scanner, but it is a really crummy printer scanner that doesn't have any colors come through whatsoever (and isn't much better than using a camera, unfortunately), so I used this picture .
But I do see where you're coming from. Any advice is very appreciated!
(Also the rest of your art is freaking awesome, holy cow)

(Thanks man, appreciate it.)
I made an edit of your drawing, and broke it down into the steps I did to edit it together. Help Sheet 14 . The main thing I did was enhance the color, and used the different "Layer modes" to put it together. That way there were no rough edges. I really love this drawing, and I cannot wait to see more like it!

Ahh, ok. Thank you so much for the breakdown! It really helped. I'll definitely try and see what I can do with the next piece. Thanks again! <3
