yeah bats are adorable. Though where I live we get the "Little Brown Bat" which if I recall correctly goes from Washington to California. They are cute little guys and I few them from time to time and see them ducking in and out of lamp posts snapping at moths and other small insects.

aw wow, thats a long way. Very cool, wish I could see that When I go walking at night, I see this one little bat flying amongst the trees. I dont know what kind it is, but I call him my little friend

yeah! they are!! I wish other people who think they are ugly can see that ther flight patterns are incredible! I went to a national park one summer and it was dark near the lake, and a bunch of bats were flying all through the trees and around me. I could barely hear the flutter of their wings, but the experience was incredible! XD

The reason why most people call them "ugly" is because of the shape of the bat's nose. Their nose shape varies from animal to animal and many people don't understand that for bats their nose has greater function then just determining scent. Plus there are wide stereotypes about bats and most of it is attributed to tales and lore rather then fact. That old stereotype that bats fly into your hair is a lie. It's amazing all the stupid unknowing comments people make about a particular animal. Plus Bats are far more interesting to watch flight wise because unlike birds they don't have tail feathers to aid in determining direction. It's all in fancy hand work for them.

I went to a concert when I was a little one and saw bats for the first time flying over my head and I spent more time watching them flying around at some points more then I did watching the concert.

yeah, its always the nose, and they "look like rats" they say. Wow, very interesting. They are the most incredible creatures in the whole wide world.
Very cool bats are more amazing to watch than anything ^_^

lol when people say they look like "rats" clearly they are blind. Their ability to fly with the aid of a tail is amazing within itself cause it's all in their hand and the membrane. To move with precision when hunting is amazing within itself.

Yeah they are a sheer joy to watch along with any other flying creature.

I like how it turned out for a quick "not even trying" drawing. I just wanted to see if I can even work with a tablet on the side and will most likely be buying one in the near future considering this is what I can do as a "quickie".

yeah the brushes make it look too easy on the tablets, though was considerably much faster to finish when compared to a actual painting but this was mostly for fun to test out whether or not I can work with a tablet.
