White Shadow sketch dump: the ninth
(I'll get on that G.K. one in a few dumps time)It's about time I posted this one since I've been sat on it for a while. This one's all Violet since I've been working on redesigning her outfit and overall look (part of which I'd posted last month). The point was to come up with something much more ninja-like in appearance, but still held to her classically recognised style.
I added the arm and shin bracers for her defence, but the dress has had the largest facelift here. I went with a more blade-like motíf, but something that was still somewhat elegant in a way. I also gave her pants since the thought of her constantly being at risk of flashing was starting to bother me considerably.
I'm still working out the details for how all of her weapons are attached to her; the actual holster/pouch combination being the biggest problem. To me, it needs to make sense and so I'll keep redesigning it until it does.
EDIT: Oops, forgot to mention. That one of her leaping was reference from an anime sketch I found. Dunno who the artist was though, unfortunately. I thought it was a cool pose to try and get my head around.

Christopher Columbus on a bicycle! That outfit looks lethal!
That bell on her neck is a nice contrast to her tanto, throwing knives, and shuriken. Adds a pleasing balance to the character.

I'd suggest looking up some of the gear SWAT teams use. Generally holsters and pouches, especially on the leg, are secured with several straps, and possibly connecting to some form of belt. and while it may not seem all that elegant at first, it works, and you can play around with it until it looks good.

That's a decent example. Google 'leg holsters', if you need more.
And if I totally misread what you needed help with, then feel free to ignore this entirely. Other then the leg holsters everything else seems okay. Though not all completely realistic, it's concept design, and as artists we're allowed some freedom to stylize XD

but in the position at the top right... the way she hold the blade in the right hand... I mean in the direction of the cutting edge won't help a lot... I would have put it the other way... well maybe if she hit really friggin hard that can do a really, really painful death but still...
