I love them very much, but as friends, if that's meaning Β they like friends as I like, but not as a couple. I love and I think pretty much the friendship them and the Trinity, then the entire League. One of my favorites DC friendships.

And that's fine. The new 52 did not blow it for me and many others because they had them hooking up in other stories way even in the 90ties...like Kingdom Come etc. So we were waiting for this. That is the cover to Wonder Woman #172 (vol 2) written by Phil Jimenez and art by Adam Hughes.It's a tie in to a Superman cross over event. The image references when Diana gets badly injured and Clark is there when it happens. It's my fave Superman /Wonder Woman image.
