For OfStarsAndClans Powerplay event ! Everyone is special little star with all their amazing abilities ! [big file ! Download for largest size :3]Right from the start I knew that I wanted to do a big group picture ! Everyone's individual roleplays were so cool and interesting to read. Granted I only captured some of the first ones since I started this sketch right when the event started. Still, I continued doing my best to read up on what was happening, and wowow everyone is amazing and talented. Like, let me roleplay with all of you right now ! Well, I wish, but rps tire me out, so lets pace myself ; v ;
Anyway, let's review what happened:
Our first group we have Lynxtail, Flightpaw, n Hopflight. Lynxtail showcases her cool spiky armor owow while Hop just 'you go girl' [he's like the only cat I don't remember seeing a power for oops] And, Flight comes up to be the first to show the Monarchs his way cool Camouflage :3
Move to the right, and you'll see Hushedlight and Rainheart. Since both are psychic users, nothing too grand or flashy, though Hush did poke and 'read' Rain's emotions when she approached her. Rain is another cat I didn't catch an ability to show orz
Going back, we have floating Palepelt n Mind reading Ambergaze. Watching those two flirt was kind of amusing hehe
To the left to the left, we have the mentor-apprentice duo, Tidefrost and Tigerpaw mock battling. Interesting battle. Tiger used her camouflage, and Tide used armor abilities to harden her skin.
Backtracking to the right, there's Littlestep with a weirdo Pebblepaw behind him. Pebble didn't initially approach him, but used illusions to mess with his vision. Little using animations toΒ mess with a fallen branch o v o
Finally in the way corner, you have Hawkflash and her familiar mock fighting Cherrytail. Cherrytail can use warping to create barriers and Hawkflash uses telekinesis to lift a hefty rock to toss at her opponent. Twister is just adorable < 3
Would've thrown more in, but I was already testing my limits with how many bodies I was placing in. Ever heard of mass capacity ?? //slapp

Hope we have another event like this again soon [hopefully i can make myself and hush be even more active next time !]

Oh my gosh Fur, this is positively, absolutely, spectacularly fabulous!! Β YOU DREW SO MANY CATS AND THEY'RE ALL DOING UNIQUE THINGS! Β That really must have been a helluva lot of reading on your part, but it certainly paid off from my perspective! Β I love this view of a lot of the participating cats and what they might have been doing, like you're a little bird hiding up in the Roost there (which you also drew super magnificently) looking down at the unfolding events below. Β The background is gorgeous, and all that perspective is incredible! Β Cats in front are larger than cats in the back, the trees, the directional sweep of the grass... it just makes this whole thing awesome to look at. Β From the looks of it, you're pretty much a heroic hammer cause you nailed all of the designs as far as I can tell--and that's a LOTTT of designs to keep track of. Β

Oh gosh oh gosh your words, again, too too sweet ! I invested quite a bit of procrastination into this one, only finally finishing it when I thought the deadline was the next day HAH
Ohhhh, I love the idea with the bird (Cause while I was going for an onlooker view, I had never thought of giving that person an identify !) Ahhh curses, Riv, now you make me wish I had actually included some little birdies to further push that view and idea rrrr ! And, perspective, hah, I still laugh but at least Art classes taught me something in school. Also, composition. I will learn how to effectively learn it !
Oh gosh, most designs aren't terrible, but, AMBERGAZE ! I've drawn that babe many a times and yet I still can't get her right fjkdfxvd She's so pretty it's not even fair ! And your Hop ! He's such a stud. Can I draw him some more again pls CUZ WHAT A CUTIE PIE !!

I've been trying to figure out how to properly comment on this because it's just so beautiful ;u;
First off, here, take my hat- because that's a lot of cats. Β W o w.
Secondly, you gave each and every one of them a bit of character and took what they were doing to heart and I'm sure that required a ton of reading and checking, so kudos to you
Third, that background is gorgeous. Β Especially that tree. Β I keep looking at it up close and seeing each individual line and then unfocusing and going "HOW" because I see how you did it but I still can't make my brain comprehend just-Β

and here I've been trying to figure out an appropriate response ! I'll start with the obvious; you're far too sweet thank you for the praise ! While this large canvas was a bit of a pain, everyone was so awesome in the power play I couldn't not show some of it !
Pssh shhhh I've been working a bit on backgrounds but I'm still so mediocre and give up half through. For the tree I've been looking at a friends speed paints and have been poorly imitating her style (at least she's given me inspiration for trees)
