The-Warriors-Guild Breaking from the clouds, a saving light

I tread through the damp forest, my feet surprisingly light considering my weary body. My heart considerably heavy despite reuniting with my lost friend.

Her kit, one of the two grey spotted twins, laughs and pushes his way past my side, earning a scowl from his overburdened mother. I smile, a thin line holding unsaid bittersweet emotions.

I found my best friend, but she is no longer the cat I once knew. She's grown; she's changed. I can't ignore the feeling that I've been left behind. Even now she is two paces ahead of me, already moving on and leaving me alone.

The wind changes and the leaves quiver. Light flickers, creating a most bemusing glimmer.

I follow the rays and welcome their warmth. Transcending the streams of bright light, a familiar figure stands adorned gold in brilliance.
