◊ Weapon: Prefers a sword and shield, though has learned to use many types of weapons as during matches his options may be limited or unfavorable.
◊ Abilities:
- Has the racial ability to take out and stow his large bird wings.
- Kiri only knows a tiny bit of healing magic, which he uses to heal small cuts and medium bruises that often accumulate in his line of work.
- For the most part he is just a straight forward fighter, using his large size, decent reaction skills, and trained knowledge in weaponry to fight.
- Knows how to use Sword and Shield best, but is able to wield spears, long swords, throwing weapons, hammers and sometimes can manage with slightly more exotic things like scythes and whips if it really comes down to do or die though of course his skill with those is lacking in comparison.
- In the more intense of battles, he will sometimes use his sharp beak for attacks even.

◊ History:
Born in Veagurth Valley, Kiri had to watch his small village struggle with the high taxes that came with living along the water. However, his people needed the food and fish... and it was simply their home. So when he was scouted at the age of fourteen to receive training to become a gladiator, he took it in hopes that he would be able to alleviate more stress from the shoulders of his hard working father. His mother had died when Kiri was young, but his father filled both parental rolls to the best of his ability, giving his son love and care so that he would grow to be a strong and kind man. Which he apparently did right as even the huge city was unable to corrupt him. Kiri passed the training strongly and fought in his first battle at the age of fifteen.
Directly after that battle, in which he had only just barely won, Kiri found himself being 'bought'. Kiri had entered the Colosseum system voluntarily so was not a slave, however he -was- there to make money and his initial hire did not offer much. This new one though.. would provide him with the gold enough to stave off the wrath of the great Dragon Tyrant.
The offer came in the form of three seemingly young sisters who were more infatuated with the young man's looks than his skill in the arena. Though of course that would also bring them great pleasure as each of them was the type to be as competitive as they were possessive.
What no one knows these days, is that Kiri is actually not Avian, but rather a sort of Eagle hybrid. The sisters, being sorceresses aswell, cast a curse upon him, turning everything above his shoulders to look like the head of an eagle. They joked that it would keep others from wanting him as they did. To add insult to injury, they told Kiri how to break the curse, but at the same time he is unable to tell anyone it even exists, let alone the conditions. The sisters were indeed rather sadistic...
By now, at the age of twenty-five, Kiri basically has forgotten that he is anything but what he appears to be now. He works hard to continuously send money to his village, which he hasn't seen since leaving, sadly. Being one of the top contenders in the arena has helped him greatly in this, and he often uses his position and privileges to help other fighters that work under the sisters, contracted or slaved alike.
◊ Personality:
- Always seems layed back and warm somehow. Even towards future or past opponents. Kiri always puts out the aura that he would make a good friend or somehow be safe to be around.
- However, due to his 'occupation' he can't always be as kind as he would prefer. The title 'Red Beak' did not come to him by accident. When in the ring and in full battle, he will show no quarter, fighting until the end. Of course if his opponent/s are soundly beat and surrender or beg for their life, he is renown for granting it. If it is obvious the other intends to fight to the death though..then so will he. Without thinking twice.
◊ Likes: Evenings when the sisters leave him alone... Nice juicy steaks, warm blankets, cool nights.
◊ Dislikes: Dealing personally with the sisters... pickled vegetables, too hot of days, seeing others unfairly hurt or mistreated.
◊ Additional Information:
- The fact Kiri is cursed really is a secret. Only himself and the sisters know.
- Kiri grows relations very easily, often having other people grow deeper than friends feelings for him because of his generally warm and protective personality. However he has never returned such things before. His job is far too dangerous and requires all of his attention. Small interactions here and there are not uncommon though, despite how the sisters have ruined some things for him..

- The sisters make -sure- Kiri is unable to grow anything like these...
Kiri is one of my oldest characters QuQ FoE died before too long.. and I royally faked up in SoC. I learned some valuable lessons though, and after letting the hurt and funk wear off, I decided I want to give him new life. So this is his third incarnation! Personality wise, he's actually a sort of mixing of both previous versions. More energetic and capable than his soc version, but more vulnerable than his foe version. I love him allot ;u;.

Wow those sisters... cruel but at the same time funny. I like the whole curse aspect, it reminds me of something but for the life of me i can't think of what. Something from greek mythology I think? Anyways he still looks handsome, i like how the feathers go from brown to a golden color its pretty.
