I'M SORRY I'M SUPER BAD AT...THINGS. THAT ISN'T REALLY A LEGITIMATE ANSWER BUT...THERE YOU GO.
Ultra despair-inducing Monokuma pastries TM. Oh boy, my favourite.
With every bite you feel a part of yourself wasting away~ Read: It's probably your metabolism. But, hey, it tastes good! @ w @
Aww, well, owe it all to yourself and your own hard work! I'm glad I get to encourage you on you're continued course of improvement!^^
Yes, you have pleased the queen herself, good job. ( ͡° ͜ʖ ͡°)
Well, by the looks of things, your experimentation seem pretty well-rounded! It's no wonder you've improved faster. Eventually you'll settle into a technique that really sticks with you, one that you'll really love drawing-that's when you'll know! I can't wait to see it!
Btw to help you further your improvement, this works for me when trying to to develop my own style, and I'm sure you, as well as all other artists have tried this at least once in your lives, but try studying the art style of your favourite artists and copy it yourself! Of course, you're not going to steal their style. Because of how different we all are as people it makes it impossible to replicate a style exactly--however you may learn something from their style that you really like, and'll pick that up and combine it with your own style, used in your own, completely unique way. This goes for everything. My brother's a musician, and told me this "You can copy someone and completely fail at it, but succeed at picking up something different--a piece of what you like from them, but a little more 'you'"--something like that.
In my lifetime the main artists that have influenced me are Steven Silver (the character design artist of Kim Possible--a show I really liked when I was a smol kid^^), Kazuki Takahashi who created Yu-Gi-Oh!, Daisukibaka on Deviantart, Yuumei on Deviantart, and ZUI on pixiv. Of course there's more, but you know, these were the most relevant during different times of my life

IT'S COOL, IT'S COOL!
That pastries sales will skyrocket without knowing the effects of eating it, and how much more they make, thus leading to no hope of stopping. It'll really taste good xP
I guess I do hehe. I'm so glad for this result
The pleasure of pleasing the Queen is despairingly satisfying
Yeah, I've improved alot over the past 7 years here in dA (more than that outside of dA). My only question for myself is if I can maintain it, cause sometimes I can forget about it over the time, so I may have to note it down Dx.
I have so many favorite artist, it's going to take a long time to reach the kind of style that I want. From Danganronpa, to Persona, to Popeye, to Spongebob, whatever I watch and play . I look up to a lot of artist that I know: Rui Komatsuzaki, Alex Ahad, my sis, some dA peeps I know, etc. It's hard to nail down exactly what got me started and what got me further, though those list I mentioned are possibly the things that influenced me.
I like your brother's quote, it's pretty motivating and more reason to keep on going

Such is the truest of Despair.
You should be!^v^
Careful, or your reward may as well be even more despair. :3
Ah, I have a similar problem, since the entire process is mostly experimentation+ improvisation but... Sometimes the best way to complete a job is that natural way I guess, what you've learned as common sense will eventually stick with you, and the process in all the steps you once wrote down will eventually become second-nature.
Same! It's going to be a long time before I reach a stage where I'm truly comfortable in my abilities, but doesn't imagining the sweet skills you'll have in the future just fill you with DETERMINATION the HOPE to get there? It sure does for me! What drives me to strive to improve is the idea that one day ill get there...I want to get there as soon as possible. And make all kinds of radical arts>w<
I think it's sweet that your sister is one of your biggest inspirations^^ The same goes for a very close artist friend of mine and his sister. They have a great relationship and are a big inspirations for each other. My bro and I are the same, except we're different types of artists--he's a musical artist while I'm a visual artists, nonetheless we still greatly influence each other.
I thought so too, so I'm glad sharing it helps!^^

Indeed!
I don't know if it's worth it if I am not careful, but I know I'll get what I want .
Yeah, learn it the natural way or jot it down when you keep on workin' something different. It'll help in the long run. For the next step, I'll probably do traditional work since this month is Inktober, and I was thinking I could make something original or another fanart using art pens I bought weeks ago. I'll have to get it workin' before Halloween arrives, so that's going to be another experiment that might sound easy.
Yes, imagining sweet skills I'll have in the FUTURE will fill me with DETERMINATION the HOPE to bring me there. Anything is possible, it's freewill . Dig deeper and discover. Together, we can make it on top, and strive to become the very best. Stand out and show the world that you can do it.
Oh yeah, my sis has been making arts. She's born with it. My family runs on arts. Art of possibility, creativity, strength, energy, etc. Anyone who got me motivated gets me workin' up . Interesting your brother is a musical artist, and your a visual artist. Cooperation is power .
Yep yep.
