The colors are very radiant and eye catching, although after carefully examining your version of gintoki, you have given him a very female touch. The spiral textures around gintoki arise a very feminine perspective and deviate from the actually personality he has.
The background in your drawing is radiant although you are missing the basic perspective of creating a flatline before creating your main, in which respects your background appears to be converging along with the sky.
Although your very usage of spirals in your drawing per se, the sky, the spirals of chi around gintoki give it a catch, which in most paintings such as "starry night" by van gogh, lets your viewer continually grasp the drawing over and over.
p.s. please lets not choose this stance for gintoki, it spaces out his sword rather to the left and hides his legs, which give it an overview of a sprinting girl.

Wow this one is amazing ! The pose and movements are very dynamic and gives the impression he's fighting with full force despite eating dango 
But I'm always impressed by your backgrounds and most of all your skies. The ground looks very real to me with a lot of rocks and details and it's as if the guy destroyed everything
But the sky is so full of colors !! I've always admired that. It goes from orange to green and in between it's turning in different shades of grey !! I really adore that !
