The summer installment of my kitsuke photoshoots. Unlike my Autumn, Winter, and Spring ones, I did this one in my home city rather than at my university.This is a synthetic ro komon with a design of water and leaves and a sha nagoya obi with a design of an orchid. This was my favorite ensemble to wear, it was so light, perfect, and comfortable.

Thank you very much. Often the only way I can get my eye color to stand out is to wear blue, which means I should probably buy more blue kimono

I was really happy with how this one came out, I think the bright light and colors gives it a really summery feel. It's probably my favorite out of the entire summer photoshoot.

They're a blue-grey, a color that doesn't really stand out as blue most of the time. Only really strong blue colors in my clothing actually make my eyes look really blue.

Mine are a weird shade of grey/blue, like the same colour as blue slate. But when you do wear blue, they look sooooo bright!

Thank you very much, but no I didn't make it. While I understand the basics of how kimono are sewn, I'm no seamstress. I buy my kimono, but I do want to learn how to sew one eventually

Haha I can't sew anything but I have to sew my own ANBU outfit for a cosplay halloween party haha

Sewing was the main reason I never became a frequent cosplayer, but I think it's something I must learn because of my kimono hobby. But kimono are generally sewn by hand, so it'll take me forever too.

I'd suggest a more poor depth of field next time. It would look absolutely stunning if you blurred out the background

I'd have liked to do that too, but my mother (who was taking the photos) has a hard enough time with my camera on a standard setting so I took what I could get. One day I will have a professional photographer
