I just have a question, you gave her a feather tail, what was your thought process here? Genuinely curious, because she was a born unicorn so I'm just wondering if her tail changed when she became an alicorn or if she always had a feather tail in your headcanon

First of all, thank you! That makes me happy to hear.
And to answer your question it's more along the line of bird tails help with flight/steering. So as much as I would love to give her the lion tail it makes more sense to have a bird tail.
And the double tail thing with both horse and bird just bothers me.
If I were to build a headcanon though she would have had the unicorn tail before hand and it would have changed when the wings were added.

That makes sense, the transformation would probably change the biology of the ponies, to help them adapt to their new form. If it can change how tall/big they get I'm sure it could also change their tail!

this is great, except horses don't have cloven hooves.

Not in the show, but in real life mythology unicorns are described as having cloven hooves, lion tails, goat beards, and the body of a deer. Basically a sort of chimera.
So here is just me taking some creative freedoms and putting split hooves on Twilight because she has a horn. All the other unicorns/alicorns (except Cadence) will also have the cloven hoovesd and lion tails unless they have wings.
Those with wings will have a bird tail.
