No more taxidermy sitting around staticly! He can hold things! He's useful!Hand-made zippered pouch, hand-sculpted head, and stuffed with love.
(He doesn't zip up any more, but he doesn't need to.)
I used a rat that died of natural causes. No animals were harmed in the making of this taxidermy.

I love your taxidermy, it's just so crazy but it still has skill, and this is a prime example. This would make a great coin purse, you should start your own line of fashion, I'd be a definite customer!Β

I've definitely considered making more to sell. It would require me to get into tanning though, and my current schedule doesn't grant me enough time to monitor the chemicals. (This guy is unable to be zipped up because his skin is too stiff.) When I'm finished with school, I'm hoping to start making some rabbit ones. I could message you if you'd like, but it won't be for a couple years, most likely.

This defiantly left me thinking "wat", but I Β must say I am impressed with such a piece as this. At first I thought it was a photoshop, but when you said it was an actual taxidermy piece I couldn't help but find it extremely interesting. Great job.Β

Thanks! I got inspired by a squirrel pencil bag I saw on the internet and decided to give it a try. It's only my second attempt at taxidermy so I guess I'm off to a good start if it got mistaken for a photoshop. I'm quite flattered.

I love looking at all kinds of taxidermy art, but this just makes me think "What the hell possessed this person to make a dead rat into a dead rat hand bag??"

Thank you! It was a toss up between that fabric or crushed velvet, and I went with the splattery pattern, which I'm very happy with.
