I discovered something new about myself today: I'm really, really bad at playing horror games. And I don't mean skill-wise; I mean I couldn't even get through a relatively tame one like Bendy and the Ink Machine without clamming up like a six-year-old going to the dentist. So to try and make things less scary, I imagined Bendy talking in this really obnoxious Mickey Mouse voice as he followed me around which, which... sort of helped?The game itself is quite good, by the way, at least for being what more or less amounts to demo. Legit fanart is probably somewhere up the chute, this is just me being weird.

To be honest, the scariest part in Chapter One is when the board fell off the wall and onto the floor, making a loud noise.

I will say the game itself is interestingΒ
I couldn't play though because of the fact it's one of those games that you look and walk around, they kinda give me a head ache
But I like the character when he's based on disney's old cartoons, which is either Mickey mouse, or Oswald the rabbit

The only horror game I played without watching a gameplay first was Ib, which it's not a super scary game so it wasn't that horrible :'0

Same here too. I'm a huge coward when it comes too horror games, that's why I only watch gameplays and look at fanart. Even the gameplays will scare me aometimes, I was afraid Bendy was going to come after me for two days! During those two days I wanted to baracade my bedroom door but my mom wouldn't allow it (I didn't ask her but I knew she would say no).

When I got to the last part where I had to turn the machine on, I knew that something scary was about to go down, so I actually had to minimize the game and watch Markiplier's video to mentally prepare myself... which I couldn't even watch on my own, so I had to have my sister come watch it first, and then describe to me in detail what the jumpscare was like. Then I finally watched the video myself and only then finally go back to the machine room to face Bendy... and I still screamed like a little b*tch and freaked out my mom all the way upstairs.
That's how bad I am at playing horror games... Β

So... I saw that game here in DA... But I still don't have Idea what's about it... :/ Is it fun? And what's the plot?

It's only fifteen minutes long, but it's quite the effective horror experience if you're into that kind of thing, and it's got a great art style and plenty of room for interpretation. Only one chapter has been released so far, but so far, the plot is fairly simple: you are an ex animator, Henry, who used to make popular Mickey Mouse-esque cartoons while working for a man named Joey Drew. Thirty years after your departure from the company, you get a letter from Joey telling you to come to his office, as he has "something to show you". You arrive and find the office completely abandoned an in a state of disrepair, with cardboard cutouts of your most popular character - Bendy the Dancing Demon - strewn randomly about. It quickly becomes aparant that something very, very amiss is taking place.

Either he'd be completely mute, since the era he was made in was probably before voice acting in cartoons was common, would only make gibberish squawking sounds like really early Disney shorts, or have a shrill silly voice like Mickey ended up getting. In my head, I imagine it being a little sassier and maybe with a bit of a Boston or Bronx accent, like the voice on the tape recorder, but still sounding a lot like Mickey. The personality I have him here was just a joke xD

An ex-animator receives a letter from his old boss/co-animator, telling him that he "has something to show him". When he arrives at the studio, it appears to be completely abandoned, and littered with merchandise and cardboard cutouts of their old claim to fame character, Bendy the dancing demon. It doesn't take long at all for it to become clear that something is badly amiss.
