may i ask what kind of equipment/techniques you use to get these kinds of shots? i just love the bokeh and detailed close-ups

i usually just screw on macro filters on my camera, set it on a tripod, use a pipette to put water on whatever, a feather in this situation and yeah. the bokeh is fake

what kind of filters do you prefer?

I have x8 x6 and x2 close-up filters. They're no where near as clear or high quality as extension tubes or macro lenses but it's okay and very cheap. is you just want a way to take macro photos without paying to much, it's an option.

it's fine. at least i have something to go by. i've never even looked for a filter before so, we'll see how that goes.

filters are great once you know more about them, especially polarizing and some other special effects filters

i found quite a lot of them on ebay.but you're right, more research into what all they do is needed before deciding on which ones. i tried asking my photography group, but they never answered back.
