Today I received my first ever tablet in the mail!! I've been scribbling on it all day while listening to a mix of Radiohead, Cake, Malbec, Weezer, and Queen. It has put me in an awesome mood.

So here is my first digital piece, still kind of a work in progress, but hooray for monochrome color schemes!

I drew this on paper some time ago, and today I traced it and then made some changes and colored it in GIMP<3. For the most part the lines are the same, although I did make the coat larger. I'm thinking it could have been her father's or something. It makes her look kinda chubby, but she really isn't, haha. I may add some rough shading in there later on, but I don't want it to look much different from this.

Eli is the daughter of Gary and Kenny Oak. The Pachirisu shown here is the same one that Kenny randomly caught during her journey through Johto (how it got all the way down there remains a mystery). Presently, Eli's team consists of Sealeo (her starter), Pachirisu, Vileplume, and Ponyta.

Born in Viridian City, she was given a Spheal egg by her father around her third birthday. Once Eli turned six she and Spheal began training together in her dad's gym.

A short while after Eli turns eight, Gary and Kenny split up and Eli moves back to her mother's hometown of Ecruteak, to live with her uncle Morty. Despite this Johto location, when Eli turns ten she and Spheal pay a visit to her grandfather in Pallet Town to receive her Pokedex and begin her journey through the Kanto region.
