Okay guys, I got a little game to play with this pic. I do this sort of game with my classmates when we hear music in class for music appreciation & my mom & I play this game but with art when we go to a museum. What is your interpretation to this pic? It gets better, even after getting a bachelor's degree, there's really only a 20% chance that you'll actually get a job that pertains to your degree. Β After that there's a whole lot of other crap, but I'd rather not talk about that.

I mean it has very little background.
See, with art, there's negative space and positive space. Positive space is typically the figures in the drawing, or the center of focus. In this case, Kevin and Adele are the ''positive space''. You may not be aware, but you illustrated an extremely interesting contrast. You chose a very unique angle, by drawing them at a ''WS'', the abbreviation for Waist Shot in film and animation. By having the drawing at such a tight close-up, you eliminated the majority of the background, therefore, Kevin and Adele took up a lot of ''negative space''. The end result is just fantastic.
I'm not sure if that made sense. XD But you would see these sort of shots in animation a lot, that's why I was impressed.

OH MY! So I've been wondering, how do you color everything so NICELY??? Like, it's so neat and how do you not drench the paper? Maybe you work with think sketch paper?

I do use sketch paper, but the ink does bleed through. but other than that, it does not tare the paper.
