Description Forget this image, it was just a test
My PC is very slow and if I render an Incendia image the whole night, it isn`t very good.
There are those little "stairs" on the edges, if you know what I mean.
Now I had the idea to import it after rendering in Incendia into Ultra Fractal 5 and render new with high Anti Alias.
This doesn`t need a long time and it works.
Images are more smooth then

Very nice, a smoother result than many of the Incendia renders I'm used to see, cool idea

Hard to ignore - nice work! Incendia is a bit time consuming when it comes to rendering. Seems that v1.3 is a little slower than v1.2.2 - at least on my system. Let one render for about 36 hours then, basically, said to heck with it and finished by doing a little touch-up in PS. Fortunately the un-rendered portions were small...

Thank you
36 hours is a long time as well. What kind of system do you have?

Now "that" is a very good question...

System is a laptop - 1 gig, can't remember what processor, but it is an Intel mobile.

Does do a little better on my Vista system which is a dual-processor with 4gig ram, but I use that too much for Apo and other things.

That's an interesting idea. I'll have to give it a try sometime and see how it works. How long did you first render in Incendia before importing into UF?

Do not know now, but many hours.

I feel your pain - I've rendered some 'stubborn' pieces for over 60 hours in Incendia and I still wasn't fully satisfied with the results ...

60 hours?? ((((
Now I know why your pics have this good quality

You made me laugh - Thanks! Most of mine take anywhere from about 4-16 hours on average - and that's with 4096 rez and 2x anti aliasing. Probably would be less if I downed the rez a bit. The 60 hours was more an experiment to see how long this one piece I was working on would take to finally finish, and it was quite painful!

When it's fitted with lightbulbs, it's going to light up a room real fierce! I like even if imperfect.
