Description
Barinasuchus was a Sabecosuchian that lived from 32 to 11 million years ago, form the late Eocene to the Miocene, on Venezuela, Peru and Argentina. Sabesuchian were a group of archosaurs related to crocodiles that lived since the Jurassic, until the Neogene. Barninasuchus was one of the largest land predators of the Cenozoic reaching 6 meters in length, with a skull of 70 cm. It was a land crocodilian that chase its prey on a upright position.
