Description So I just got 3D studio max.
As some of you know, I eventually want to get into video games, specifically doing 3d modeling, but the art program at my college is a bit lacking when it comes to this type of stuff, and I need to learn more complex porgrams than Bryce.
So, I'm teaching myself. Blizzard uses 3Ds on their stuff, so I convinced the company I'm working for at the moment that I could do cool models of their machines with it if they got it for me.
SO, I've created a pawn and a bishop, the first two lessons in the tutorial guide. Then I imported them into Bryce to make them look pretty. /shrug
For the first time in my like I know what a "spline" is.
I've got a long way to go, but practice makes perfect right?

Awesome! I am jealous of your having 3D studio max... I once knew what "spline" meant, but I haven't been around the program in 3 years and of course have completely forgotten. I'm excited to see what else you do with it tho!

Why are you advertising this on my site?
Not to be rude, but I get enough of that crap in my email.
Please remove it.
