Iray

In a parallel universe somewhere....

N.B: Using a Parkside scene set reshadered because I had no school corridor sets - No shoes, partly 'cause no shoes indoors is more civilised and the time for school outfits the shoes were separate products.

Oh, and the black tile strip is to hide the ugly seam between two floor surfaces between which the tiling refused to match up.

This is parkside? That's a massive transformation. It looks more like a visit to a museum than a school hall. I like this lively scene a lot, and it's very well done. Once again your color scheme is great, and the lighting pretty good (albeit the characters in the front might have needed a bit more of it). The naked feet appear a bit surprising, but it's pretty cute, so it was a good idea despite being the result of how the outfits were packaged. More surprising is the costume of the adults in the background. Well..it would be surprising if it wasn't one of your renders.Β

But then, it's an idealized place. I see no reason to make it more realistic and less attractive.Β

The scene is good: it creates an atmosphere and setting that do make sense.Β  I would be most interested in seeing the theme to be expanded further.Β  How does the school itself look like?Β  How do the living quarters look like?

With the current climate still being hostile, one has to be cautious with doing school scenes.

This was mostly an excercise in reshadering a scene prop (the corridor) West Park and Parkside point have a similar architecture, this is a piece of Parkside Point. Could easily reshader West Park to expand Athena College, and will do at some point when I pick up more of theΒ  subsets (the ward would do for a dorm) - only sticking point is adequate and suitable furnishing.

[Note: It seems that I couldn't get notified when my reply receives a reply.Β  I wish I was able to "watch" this thread.]

As for the climate, I think that if you keep school-related things PG-rated, no one would be able to have any arguments against your work.Β  The PG-rated versions are already interesting enough, and hence worth publishing.Β  If you have time and inspiration, please do consider a few more renders of this school.

Hopefully I will.

A lot of scenes with the more recent figures never get finished due to software crashes and freezes, the more figures the more likely a crash, and scenes like this need a lot of figures - I was surprised when I got this one out.

Interesting.Β  What is the software that you're using?

Daz Studio at the moment.

I like this one.

One of those 'caught between the moments' images - nothing to do with the subject, Daz just managed to stay working and let me add 4 Genesis 3 females and four Genesis.

I had a busier one ready to go, the reds switched out for blues, but I got carried away and added two more genesis - that was ok, but adding another G3F crashed the render engine when I hit render - silly overconfidence...
