Description

Iray

Started out as a Optitex Dynamic Cloth practice session, become a portrait then added two more to give it a bit of life.

Breaking my usual rules, the back two are Genesis 3 and Genesis 8 the foreground figure is an older Genesis.

''Jeez, girls!  This our first night out in weeks and the club is nearly empty!
I mean where are all the guys?!  We're virtually baring our ''all''  here and nobody is taking any notice!''.

But the woman passed-out on the floor is a Victoria 3, right? RIGHT?!?

I have difficulty with HDRI and floors - you'll notice a lot of Daz artists just do this sort of shot with an IBL/HDRI backdrop. Not only would any floor possibly go through walls so a figure would appear to be somewhere impossible but the 'floor' might well appear several feet above the actual image of a floor.

Unless you buy the rather expensive pre-configured HDRIs, you have to scale and tweak the Environmental dome yourself - buggered if i can get any of the settings to appear to change anything about the dome scaling - you'll notice the bar is actually too high for the camera angle and figure height. Most I can get it to do is rotate the dome.

There are the occasional free HDRI which works, but most are totally unscaled for Daz, every scene looks like a borrowers scene or attack of the 50 foot woman - especially indoor scenes.
