black more diffcult to draw!

These are all done with posing software called Daz Studio with rigged models - I used to do them in pencil and pen or brush and ink or chalk or colouring pencil, but just more stuff to drag about as I move from one job or location to another. Plus these look better.

Doing black characters is just a matter of suitably ethnic face and body morphs and a good skin texture.

Sorry, I used to write stories based on the topics I now do in DAZ Studio. A long time ago. All lost to time and the distractions of the real world.

They were never very good stories, merely musings on what civilisation would be like if the balance between the two sexes was not about 50/50 population-wise or there was a third sexe. I worked on several variations on and off, which became distilled and even more distilled as I trashed them and redid.

After a bit, I switched to drawing, easier to illustrate with pencil and pen than depend on a mode of communication that basically evolved to 'tell other monkeys where the best fruit is' and/or 'yell defiance at the monkeys in the next tree'.

Language carries with it the world it evolved in, its beliefs and assumptions, its biases and prejudices. I prefer to let the illustrations speak for themselves and let the viewer decide where the story goes according to their biases and prejudices. So I avoided using english or any other tainted contemporary tongue. The pictures got done, redone, trashed and distilled as the text had before it, and so much so that I am hesitant to try to explain them here as they will come out like even the most vivid dream after an abrupt wake-up.

Sometimes a dialogue forms in my head for the characters as I put a scene together, but it's nebulous and changes as I add and change and by the time the scene is done I've forgotten it.

This image is the result of experimenting with some nice outfits attempting to crystalise my ideas for a theme to base a series of outfits for a dominant female priesthood and it's dependant junior orders like its trainees, its armed wing and its servants as well as suitable clothing for the secular part of society.

I have of course outfits already lodged in my mind from when I used to illustrate by hand rather than digitally, but they lack detail or just wouldn't transfer well.

As to eunuchs. It's not something that has been in the western mythos for some time (not since the castrati opera singers). When I begun my musings thirty odd years ago I'm not sure it's a state I was even aware of, so I've not made a space for it in my mythos. Add to that the Daz figures (Genesis or Generation 4) don't come with a default state for it - there is a geograft for sale on a site which claims to be suitable, somehow I think it would be wrong from the provided previews.

The idea has intrigued me though as an added depth and detail.  I hope to include them in later work as soon as I work out a good look that will not disappoint and be roughly accurate.
