Description The Abaddon sword

27" overall
17" Lightning fire acid etched hollow ground blade
Hand carved Paduak wood grip

The edge has been buffed after initial sharpening making it ridiculously sharp

How did you get into smithing? I've always thought it would be an interesting profession or an expensive but enjoyable hobby, when I with my hotglass teacher she once said she had worked as a smith for awhile, I've stopped thinking about it though it seems more like a by chance field to enter.

I'm currently looking into it - the best way in that I've found is either apprenticing yourself or doing some short courses. If you're in the UK, there's several week-long courses lying around to try out, and a lot of colleges do it.

Yeah, I dont live in the uk, its just a strange fascination Ive had. I tend to want to learn everything.

I would say get a City and Guild qualification, but I don't know if the Guild operates in the US :/
